Ft Worth is where I usually dash. But, right now I am recovering from heart surgery with 3 stents in my heart. I’m in Palmview Texas very near McAllen… will be here until February. I suppose every time I watch your videos you talk about Austin so, that may be one of my next cities to check out.

I have to 100% agree with you. When I became homeless for short time in Austin, I was very fortunate to be able to sleep in the parking garage of the hospital I worked for, since I mostly worked at nights while going to school during the day. Plenty of street parking for me to stealth in my car not to mention the parking lot over by Zach Scott theater, or I could chill during the day on the weekends to really not be bothered. And before Covid there was always the Hancock H-E-B that was 24 hours where I would shop for my snacks, meals, as well as use the restroom if needed. About to go back into hotel Prius in a couple of months because I’m looking to leave Austin in Texas for the Pacific Northwest before the summer. He gets here next year. Totally looking forward to it!

Hi Jake. I’ll be moving to TX in june, by myself and my soul. Im thinking about living out of my car and have been getting great information from your channel. Im not going to a big city, im going to South Lake. Been told thats where the rich people live. One concern i have is how to deal with the heat. Cant find a video on that yet, do you have one? I’ve been reading about hanging out in coffee shops, malls and libraries to stay out of the heat.
@Alihan_Solo9 ай бұрын
How I deal with it living in car in Florida is having things to do through the day around 8-9 in the morning until it starts getting darker. Cools down when it’s dark, my two rechargeable fans from Amazon help to keep me cool. Have one blowing on my legs and the other around my chest face area. This is good enough for me to sleep, and I damn near need it perfect to go to sleep lol

guadalupe st, nueces st., pearl st, etc is deep heart of UT campus ,a total no go. best places for bathrooms are public librairies and community centers, open to the public. Targets, home depot and walmarts are also good to use during the day. if at night, sometimes motels will let you use their bathrooms in lobby, just say you are there to deliver food. Quiktrip bathrooms are always open 24 hours, and are relatively clean. Always use apps when eating out from fast food places, they have discounts on stuff and earn points for free food later on. I think church's chicken has a special on their tuesdays or wednesdays where you can get 8 pieces for like 9 bucks. thats 2 meals worth.. I always use the mcdonalds drink machines to fill up water bottles.

Which city has lower fuel prices? Which city has cooler/better summer temperatures? Looks like Austin is better for your income stream due to the younger culture. Have you found a specific section of Austin that uses Uber eats the most? How much of your delivery time are you only operating on the Prius battery?

Dallas has A LOT more people than Austin because of the metropolitan area. When visiting (or thinking about) Dallas, you're really visiting the Metroplex. Ft. Worth, Arlington, Irving, Denton, etc, etc, etc... Austin is just Austin

Those types of petty crime you mentioned aren’t unique to Dallas sadly it’s pretty common in many big cities. A few that were worse that I’ve been would be Cincinatti, Miami and LA.

I think stating the population as close to the same is a bit misleading, considering the population of greater Austin is roughly 2.5 million while the population of greater Dallas is over 8 million. The point of Austin being more geographically concentrated is very true though. That 8 million is spread over a much wider area.
