Legally they cannot tow a vehicle with a living being in the car,just saying. But they can and will,it's LAPD remember,pull a homie outta their own car no problem. So when ya park everything ya own on the street be careful of the very confusing street signs so not take lose it.I have seen it happen many times here. Even been towed once myself, no bueno. The cost to get it back doubles every day. it's a bad racket and ruins all sorts of dreams. don't get caught up, read the signs,just saying. good luck.

I was homeless for a few weeks in 2014 and my mom and I slept in her Dodge Durango in walmarts in Houston . It wasn't too bad we stayed positive and laughed alot . When this youtube money starts coming in you will be able to get an apt or even a house . Good luck and blessings. Stay safe

Yes I live in a house now , I actually share a house with both of my parents they aren't together but just to make it work we rent a house together . And what I did was just kept my faith in God and hustled and worked and my mom had got sum tax money back so after we were homeless we got a lil apt in the hood for a min . What city u from?

Screw California I live there from 1960 to 1983 I now live off-grid on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina in the Smoky Mountains rules have to wear a mask curfew you people are crazy if everybody refused and everybody took their mask off there's nothing they can do

Get yourself a California state park pass. It's $195 and any park that has a campground will have showers. Dockweiler state beach is the closest campground in LA.

Welcome to LA, Jake! You definitely picked a unique time to come here. 😄 I was going to warn in your last video not to as we are shutting down rn, but your enthusiasm and hopefulness tell me you’re going to to find your way. It’s not the most ideal place for nomads at the moment. Try calling the YMCA’s for showers. There are handful that the city set up a shower program for the homeless/houseless residents. You just need to sign up with your ID. It’s free for a 20 min shower. The hours are a bit restrictive , M-F 9am-1/2pm, but it beats spending $15 or getting an Airbnb or hotel. Good luck and enjoy the city!

If you came to Hampton roads Va I am pretty sure you could get a job very very easy, pay would be 14 to 25 dollars an hour starting, the jobs here could be anything from stick welding (actually very easy), be a helper (clean machine shop, set up projects, move materials with fork lifts etc), minimal assembly mechanic skills(mechanical/electrical integrator).

In CA looks for a store called 99 cent or dollar store, it is cheap and you can buy items to eat, towels, paper plates, silverware, real cheap. mustard does not need to be put in the fridge, it can be put in your car, and is good to go. apples, oranges, bananas are good to have around, and canned vegs. all on the cheap, deodorant, body wash, soap for washer all cheap.

Duke Canon has a product called Cold Shower Wipes. Found them at Target. They are the best version of this type of thing I’ve found. I use them on long road trips/traveling etc

Los Angeles is incredibly diverse as to what the different areas are like. I've lived in Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, and other places. I moved to San Diego years ago because Los Angeles has gotten far too crowded and full of traffic and paid parking 24 hours a day LOL

Those inspection border stations are in Texas too. "Border Patrol" is allowed within like 100 miles of the border..So you can pass through one even if you arent at the border itself.

I’m sure you probably already know this but a vanlife/camplife/RV life/carlife hack of a sort is to get a $20 a month Planet Fitness membership. You could shower everyday if you so choose and it’s included in your membership. I don’t know if PF is nationwide, maybe it’s only here in the East. But if it’s nationwide....the $20/mth allows you access to any/all PFs.

Nice you hiked to the Hollywood sign. Next time you could do the wisdom tree to Hollywood sign hike. There is free parking in the neighborhood but the hike up to wisdom tree is sort of steep. Anyone who hikes frequently will be able to do it though.

Hey welcome to LA. The schools give out free food if you need some well I know that LA unified school district does. If you ever have free time visit the south bay. Go up the 110 all the way to San Pedro and drive around torrance, Palos Verdes, Rolling hills long beach etc. The South Bay is LA still just less traffic and more chill.

Jake, try the north Orange county area to do Uber Eats. Cities like Fullerton, Brea, Yorba Linda, City of Orange and Tustin. They are pretty easy and relaxed markets for Uber Eats, and people here are very nice and tips are decent.
