Suggestion - when you are working on something outside your warranty, go to a specialist. If you take the exhaust issue to a muffler shop they will know how to fix it proper and most likely be less expensive. After 15 years full-time living in an RV, I never, ever go to a RV dealer for repairs unless there is absolutely no option. Good Luck!!!

My uncle had two homes his entire life. One in Florida. He would never have repairs on his vehicle in Florida unless it was an absolute emergency. His theory was that there were so many seasonals, travelers, RV'ers that repair shops had an attitude and would take a chance on never seeing you again and just did not care.

Florida has a lot of irritants that can trigger a persons eczema which they didn’t even know they had. Also, I recommend Garnier micellar cleanser for sensitive skin with cotton pads for the face. It works wonders!

Sunshine Skyway Bridge! I go there with my van and my pup! I’m technically a NY er who’s lived in the Tampa Bay Area for 14 years. Will be full time May 1st, living in a van. Still have loose ends to tie up but as soon as I do I will be heading out of Florida before it gets crazy hot! If you come towards Jacksonville, then you should visit St. Augustine and Amelia Island. Both are rich in history. Both very beautiful! Just remember the beaches cannot compare to the beaches in the Gulf. 😊

I have a prepaid Verizon phone that I use as a hotspot when my t-mobile hot spot isn't getting a signal. I don't put money on it each month if my t-mobile is working. Basically I pay for it when I realize I am camping somewhere without a t-mobile signal. I have only been in one location so far when neither worked. You don't get a huge amount of data either but works in a pinch. Satellite is probably the way to go once you are out west. Some people are having good luck with the t-mobile home internet but you have to tell them when you move around so I haven't looked into it too much.

Refrigerator - you can spray your dust rag with pledge and shine up the frig. I use to clean houses and that's a product we used to shine stainless steel appliances. I'm sorry they gave you the run around. I'm happy you stood up to them!💪

Nomi I'm so glad you spoke up to the guy at the RV place. Your van is new and you keep it very clean and everything up to date. 1st he should of said we don't have the proper stuff to fix it to the original but I can fix it temporarily until the parts come! He was wrong in so many ways. I can't believe all the cracks that are popping up. I do realize traveling and rough roads can do things like that but for what we pay for new vehicles it should be better than what it is! I applaud you for always checking things out and staying on top of things. What a beautiful sight sitting at the gulf the sunset was beautiful! I'm glad you finally got to see one. Every time you cook you make me very hungry!! And the dishes you make take no time at all to cook and look amazing. I'm sure you must be asking for a military discount on everything cuz places don't offer it you have to ask!! Most repair shops offer a discount so I bet the RV place does too. I wouldn't be surprised if the bike shop offers it. Plus you've been to home depot and I know both home depot and Lowe's offer military discounts. I am not sold on the model of van you have. While it's aestheticly nice, it seems to have a lot of problems for a class B that is less than a year old. And yes, T-Mobile does suck. I loved Sprint, but then it was bought out by T-Mobile and the quality of my Internet and phone service has taken a massive nosedive. Sprint was awesome, but it is gone with nothing to compare in the market and I am sad. I had a client who recently went to Europe tell me how incredible the Internet service is in Europe compared to U.S. She said the speed and reliability is unmatched to the U.S.

I hear ya. I had Sprint too, but ever since they were bought out by Tmobile, the service sucks. I also don't like the fact that if you don't pay your bill on the date it's due they access a Five dollar late fee. I pay them when I get paid and sometimes it's a day or two late. I'm also sick of the notices about how I've used too much of my data and if I use over 50G my phone could be slow during peak times. I have unlimited everything. I detest Tmobile and I'm switching.

Sorry for the frustration you endured at the RV service center often they seem to take the easy/quick fix. Lubricant and chain cartridge will resolve your issues works like a breeze for me!

It was another KZbinr that said they hate getting their rv worked in Florida as they get so many throughout the year customer service went out the door and lag when working on her rv. Nomi, I am with you on the matter relating to the botched repair of the exhaust pipe. I faced similar issues with my Ford dealership. They tend to dismiss your concern and botch up repairs after you have paid a significant amount of money for a brand new vehicle. They got your money and are happy....they are less concerned about your concerns.

Chile I completely understand. I have the same kind of experience getting my car fixed or anything else in Florida. It usually takes multiple trips to a manger or someone to fix it the correct way that it should have been in the first place. It’s frustrating for sure!
