Hi Mateo, I go camping 2-3 times per year. Here in Florida the mosquitoes and no-seeums are horrible! I hate getting chewed up. I found it extremely helpful to use a battery operated bug zapper in my tent and citronella incense thingies at my campsite. Also, pre-spraying the camp area with outdoor repellant helps too, but that can get costly. I hope it gets better soon. Stay strong. 🙋

Remember to put water and conditioner in your hair to hydrate your dreadlocks and Just put on a cloth what ever makes you feel comfortable try to get at least to hamacs just in case you feel like sleeping outside make a tent with shower curtains you get some cable wire or clothes line and get at least a few shower curtains from Dollar tree or free from donations and make a shower curtain tent 😊

If you have a rice cooker try to have at least 3 rice cooker so you don't have to monitor the food stew's you can put your vegetables and fruits vegetables inside the rice cooker and not have to monitor keep a coffee maker so you can cook your pastas to or make soups in your coffee maker and you don't need to monitor so much 😊

Mateo it was so nice to meet you! My wife and I completely agree about those mosquitoes. They were terrible! Got us through our clothes too. If you’re going to New Mexico, I’d recommend Santa Fe. One of my favorite places I’ve camped. And the city is wonderful. Ruidoso is also beautiful! It’s up in the mountains. In Arizona definitely go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. Both highly recommend!

Dollar Tree has outdoor incense that can help with bugs. They are not bad and cheap. A bug zapper will also help. We do both.

Next time before you set up camp go look for wood for your fire. Great idea about the fire starter cotton balls. Walmart has the beat mosquito zappers and the kind you hang up. Mosquitos love water so just remember and park further away. I love the croissant sandwich from Starbucks. Umm good. Oh and burn some incense (smokey) inside. Safe travels buddy. ❤😃

Great video, Winterisblu: Arkansas is a beautiful state and I plan on visiting it in the winter in the near future after I acquire a six month park guide job in Tennesse for the summer and it ends for the season. If you ever decide to camp in Arkansas again, you can purchase citronelle candles and they work great for keeping Mosquitos away. Look at purchasing a liquid bottle of mosquito repellent with citronelle in it and this will also keep the mosquitos away as wellm and neither product is pet friendly, nor nontoxic to your pets-Happy trails

I buy the 100 pack of tea light candles. Remove one or 2 from their litter foil cups and sit then on the wood and light them. The melted wax drips on the wood and makes it burn without kindling

I have a 2 year old female tabby cat named Moca she plays catch i'll throw a small soft bouncy ball that she brings back to me and places it in front of me, untill I throw again sometime she even catches it with her paws it's the cutest thing. You definitely can teach lars cats are super smart.

You can get fabric mesh screens to put over top of car door so you can roll down windows and keep bugs out. Theres also the hanging black mesh screen doors that I've seen on a few van videos.

There's a lot to see in New Mexico: Carlsbad Cavern; Roswell alien stuff; Sante Fe art museums & old churches; Chaco archaeology site; I remember on the east side of New Mexico there were tumbleweeds as big as person. But I'll watch your videos even if it's just you and Lars hangy out
