Clear water beach is beautiful. But too much Mosquitoes. The Skin remain itching long time. But still very good weather and climate around the year. Love it but expensive.

Sam is it safe to buy a home down there with the sinkhole issues?

There are plenty of homes here without any sinkhole issues. Feel free to reach out and we can go over what areas you might want to avoid that have sinkholes

Pinellas County sucks. You want the same florida beach stuff you go anywhere else that isn't Pinellas County. The roads and infrastructure is bad, people dont know how to drive at all, everything looks rundown with the exception of a few spots like the beach areas, keys, St. Petersburg. Avoid. I'm happy in Lee County and I would not even move to Pinellas if someone paid me 1 million dollars to do it. It needs more updates to alot of it's town, everytime I come here I feel North Fort Myers is nicer... or Lehigh, that shouldn't be the case here in Pinellas but it is. Then you get to St. Petersburg, or the beach areas and I feel that it is easily outshone by Sanibel, Captiva, Ft Myers Beach, and Pine Island which includes Matlacha, Bokeelia, St. James City. Everytime I've been here, for various reasons, I've felt like I've downgraded from where I'm at and wasted gas. Until they update alot of the rundown parts and make it look nicer to come to, it's a big no.
