They forgot to mention you can skate to The Beer Store, or downtown via the Rideau Canal. Best to use the buddy system after a night of partying, though. My room mate didn't make it back once and we had go looking for him along the canal. He decided he was tired and it would be a good idea just to sleep at the side of the canal in a snowbank. :-D Ah, memories of Rez. :-)

@@Aiden_Muslim no, i didnt hate it at all. i loved it, and i did economics too! i graduated and got a job for the feds in ottawa paying 65k/ year, a few years ago. now im working for a bank in toronto making around 90k. carleton is a much better school than western

That chocolate fountain is basically non-existent... The move-in experience was really good though, they organize it very well. If only they did the same for move-out.

I noticed on the Carleton University Residence Website that they give out the choice rooms (Single, Suite single and suit double) in order of when the applicant for those style of room accept their offer of residence. does this mean that someone who doesn't get early acceptance will pretty much stand no chance of getting a single room?
