I've lived on Oregon for 35 years. Let's be clear to those not familiar with the area. People will tell you that Vancouver Washington is part of the Portland area. IT IS NOT! The traffic problem is simply Washingtonians coming in to our state to work. We're we to pluck Washington cars from the I5 and I205 in Portland it would be free flowing. What's funny is those from Vancouver use our roadways more but don't want to pay for a new bridge. We should do a toll bridge and charge them double to enter. Another gripe, it's just the Northwest. There is no Pacific Northeast so it doesn't need to be said. New Yorkers don't say the Atlantic Northeast.
