I live in a warm state in the US, and i could never live in a cold environment. I'm envious of any people in the world who can tolerate the cold bc i love snow. Emm the title is a little wrong. The coldest place where people live i think is the Irkutsk region of siberia . Over there you would not be able to do your food prep out in the open in sandals. You will not find a running stream in the middle of winter.

Don’t be fooled! They have water that runs inside their home. They have electric heaters gas heaters refrigerators and freezers. That food would be frozen solid if they had to run down to the creek to wash it it would’ve been frozen before it got there. Things aren’t as hard up in the mountains as most people believe, I guess it makes for great viewing
