Love, you don't have to explain why you live in housing. I believe everyone has the right to an affordable, safe and warm place to live regardless of the situation. Thank you! Yes! I’m very pleased how everything came out. I was upset cause my air was disconnected upstairs for over a year after the remodel. They finally came in two months ago and found that they didn’t reconnect my duct work in my attic. That’s why my apartment was so hot upstairs with the new air unit. I knew something wasn’t right. Finally they checked it out after the contractors were gone off the property. They did our building in 4 weeks and obviously didn’t inspect everything.

I stumbled upon this video. Your place is very nicely decorated. Can I suggest you turn all your door overhangs to the inside so that all the things hanging on the hooks are inside the room. The same for your kitchen, so that the mop and brooms are inside the utility room and not showing in your kitchen. You did a great job. God Bless

Yes, you are exactly right. I thought the same thing hang the broom mops anything showing on the outside? Hang them on the inside of your closet you have such a lovely home. That would just add to its beauty. You’re doing a great job. Doesn’t matter where you live, they say it’s how you live and you live wonderfully, God has truly blessed you and let’s pray one for another. God bless you.

You could get one of those storage ottoman boxes (the longer one) to put behind the couch so you can put your couch and extra blankets/pillows in there when not in use. Lovely home!!

Most of my furniture is thrifted. If you find something sturdy with "good bones", keep it if you can. A lot of furniture that's made now is just not the quality that it used to be. If it is quality, you are going to pay an arm and a leg for it. You're doing a great job.

I think cinder block walls are the norm in some public housing apartments...when I use to live in public housing in Virginia the walls looked just like yours.

Thank you. Apply in your city or town. I got into my 1st project apartment in three weeks. They didn’t have a waitlist. Then I applied to these apartments as well. Took me a year to get back to my hometown.

Thank you! I will post a pic. I don’t do much for Christmas. I put garland on my hallway steps. I decorate my front door and steps and hang lights in my windows. Plus put up a tree. I’m going to do an updated mini tour with the things that you have gifted us. I have updated since I recorded this video over a year ago. It took me just this long to edit the video.
