All the reasons you listed is not a good excuse to use drugs outside of alcohol or marijuana. Each one, "lack of purpose, no jobs or shit jobs, unwanted change, getting hooked to prescriptions, personal tragedy," are all situations you aren't going to make better hiding in the shadows of drugs, face your shit like a MAN, not a MA'AM Lack of purpose = Find a new interest, read a book or website, you don't know about everything in our existence. No jobs, or shit jobs = Its 2020, with less than 4% unemployment in the U.S., get off your ass and try harder. unwanted change = Obama had a bumper-sticker for this. Getting hooked to prescriptions = In some cases, this is due to doctors over prescribing. A way to combat the situation is to only take it as needed, and tell yourself your a bitch if you rely on a prescription for pain. Personal tragedy = There are more to come, unfortunately in this world there is one sure constant: people die. Looking at the situation to make yourself stronger is a productive way to get through it, because it will surely happen again. You are the only one that can assess value to the actions you make. @@grantduke318 Obama indeed had a bumper sticker, and its not one I agree with. Fuck his change. Are you from a big city or something? Try being someone who used to have a good job at Cebelas in Sidney, Nebraska. Try being my friend Susan, a woman who got in a horrible accident on black ice and lost 2 of her children from it. Enduring both physical and emotional pain, with a shitty job as a cashier for Dollar General. Is she a "loser"? Of course she isn't. My mom was ethnic Chinese from Indonesia she spoke Dutch, English, Mandarin and Indonesian and in 1954 she immigrated to America as an exchange student. Met my dad Scotch Irish and never left. She was naturalized in 70. Mom passed in 2010 and I'm 60 and currently live in Copenhagen Denmark. I'm a jazz pianist and my drummer who is Danish has lived for a while in an artist's village with many westerners near Tibet with his Chinese wife and Eurasian son. He has just been offered a job by (some committee?) in that village to be the director of their cultural center. He has spent the last 7 years bringing (hipness) to Chinese music (he's very good innovative drummer who lived for 10yrs NYC) so I am being offered a position too perhaps but I hessitate. That's why I've been checking out your channel. Ok peace. PS it's no small thing that your beautiful wife is a physician.☯️

This is wonderful to hear. I have been down in the dumps about the future of America after the Jan.6 insurrection. Something I never thought could happen here. I love my country but I fear that we will lose what we have. Thank you for this. We wish you and your family the best and hope you continue to stay here. The great thing about living in the USA, you get to think you're free, until a cop rapes your wife and kills you, then a District attorney empanels a grand jury made up of mostly cops, the judge's golf buddies and they all decide not to charge the cop with a crime.
@will29935 жыл бұрын
@@MrNopehaha you're right that happened to me 46 times last week. What a gosh darn drag!
@MrNopehaha5 жыл бұрын
@will2993 The irony here is, something like this happened at a Costco in Corona, some autistic guy shoved an off-duty cop, the cop loses his temp, pulls out his gun and unloads a 10 round magazine into the retard and his two elderly parents. The DA asks the parents of they can empanel a grand jury, the poor parents don't know that a "grand jury" is made up of whoever the judge and DA want them to be, usually it's full of cops or their friends. After the video footage (the closest camera that captured everyone) of the actual incident disappeared (Some say, it's thanks to the union) they decided not to charge the cop with a crime, who proceeded to change his story 3 times. The DA empaneled a grand jury and they decided not to charge the cop with murder for killing the autistic fellow and ventilating his elderly mom and dad. There is no justice, laws are for "just us" not them.

@johan I don't condone your statement, I prefer: May the criminal elements that have taken over law enforcement, the justice system and our gov't break into 1000 pieces and be scattered to the wind.

We are Filipino American been living here in the states for a long time. We love this country . I don’t even think of going back to the Philippines to live. We got so used to the lifestyle here. I agree with you about people talking about racism here. I don’t know about that. Most of Americans we know they are friendly. Even if you go to stores or any offices they are always cordial.
@mattmexor28824 жыл бұрын
The racism thing in the US is about power. It's not about helping people it's about political power. It's not about logic or reason, either, it's about rhetoric. It may seem conspiratorial to say something like that, but it's not. It's the explanation for why anybody not caught up in the whole thing says "i don't understand what people are talking about". The real problem, the real issue, is that that political power game has spread so far in the humanities to become orthodoxy in many areas of life, such as education and journalism. Corporate PR and HR has also bowed to it because corporate culture takes the path of least resistance, which can also be seen by how corporations bow to China so easily.

The reason why Winston said he doesn't see discrimination in America is due to exactly those people he denounces for speaking up. He shouldn't denounce people for speaking about discrimination in America. There is still a lot of things we can improve upon.
@mattmexor28824 жыл бұрын
@@Name-jw4sj No. Most of those people weren't even alive when the issue of racism in America was strongly being dealt with. The people Winston is talking about are racists. Casting their hold off of us is one way we can really improve things in this country. So that a man can be judged on the content of his character and not the color of his skin.
