In Taiwan at 101, in the shopping mall at the bottom, is a set of glass lifts. My sister in law was squeezed against the glass as a large group of PRC Nationals packed the lift. Door wouldn’t close due to weight. She mumbled and complained and found her way out, stepped into the adjacent glass lift (alone) and waved to the lift full of Chinese as her lift took her up

Exactly the same question came to my mind. I thought was it me who missed the answer. Seems they also kind of forgot to answer, and it is logical if you think for a moment what their all the videos are; just random films without any theme and just end up showing some of China and same with this video they started with this question but ended up talking about China.

@mirozen_6 жыл бұрын
They put the actual answer in the description text... "We're not entirely sure, but we tell you how we made the channel anyway." I wish they had added this statement to the beginning of the video itself, but at least it's in the description area.
@sapphirecamui64476 жыл бұрын
The big deal is that people HATE clickbait. videos can be flagged for clickbaiting. the answer should have been in the video, not in its description, because i for one, rarely check the stupid description box. im sure im not the only one.

I am curious. My fav channels periodically speak about the massive editing they have to do. I don't think everyone appreciates how significant it is. Your videos are so clean they seem effortless. So I was wondering if you guys could post 5 or 10 minutes of completely unedited video? I think that would be really cool to see. I would love to see it. I have been with you both for a few years now. When you started adding the drone shots it was amazing. Just beautiful. Keep up all the amazing work you two!

My son turned me on to this channel about a year ago and we both really enjoy it. I have served in the military and I have seen how most of the world lives, however only from a distance. Your show delivers on the opportunity to learn allot more about a different culture and social system from an outsiders perspective and more importantly (in my opinion), how much we have in common; people are people and your channel does a great job of reinforcing that fact. Thank you for taking us along for the ride, and please stay safe out there.

Tyrone D Or, the US Army/Navy... the US have a significant military presence all over the world. And most sailors from a NATO country would have seen most coastal countries.
@NeverSuspects6 жыл бұрын
You did read the whole post right? All the way up to the part where he said what he seen was only from a distance and then about how the channel has given a closer perspective. Also think about the statement in relative terms. Most people will never see as much of the world as those who serve in the military. Also, sailor will only see ports because they move goods, the military moves and deploys people and not only too ports.
@zillbilliechris6 жыл бұрын
Tyrone, most people in this world live in countries (India, China, Middle East) that are very different socially and economically from those in western society. That is all I was trying to convey, not that my explanation matters because I'm sure you'll only be interested in firing back with some other semantic critique.

I enjoy your and your wives' channels, but THIS one is the best. It's the topics and scenery, for certain, but it really comes down the the synergy of the two of you playing off each other that elevates it a step above your individual channels. Don't get me wrong, guys, you each put out great content, both informative and entertaining. But ADVChina is just that tiny bit above. Stay awesome; keep them coming; and watch your backs!
@markhawthorne66836 жыл бұрын
Do you know what makes these so special? It is not only the amazing travelling and adventures you do. It is the content , but most of all the friendly , easy and laid back way you just go for it, the personal view and opinions are priceless. But the fact that your friendship has such an endearing magic for the viewer. The viewer actually feels you are talking to them. It is a personal touch that can only be seen in all of your videos from you both , but more apparent in ADV . I also like the fact that you are both still amazed by the following you get and still grounded and appreciative of the good comments and loyalty you receive. All of this success , and I think growing success can only ever be attributed to the hard work and imagination you guys have put into this . To imagine the seed, grow the seed, nurture the seed into a tree and watch it bloom. Both you and your families are awesome . 😎😎 Maybe a video of you all together over a special celebration meal chatting about etiquette or something would be nice Stay awesome

Always good to convey some of the off-camera activity because due to the nature of the format people will easily get a biased picture and think video production like that is all smooth sailing. If you two never found each other as someone seeing those endeavors through but had to run things on your own, can you even imagine where you would be today? ... Two can be so much more powerful than one.

Your videos are awesome! This is so educational this is addicting... I just want to keep watching episodes. Here's one thing that adds tremendously: I"m using Chrome on a workstation and as the page shows links to other episodes (sub-images and their titles) I right click to open another tab with that video. I just keep adding to my current set of tabs (videos waiting for me to watch). I'm ending up with so many tabs I start a new window, so I have maybe twelve episodes to watch and I keep adding to that as I see new ones (deleting the tab after I click "like")... I create a new tab for the most interesting video titles. The technique I just described is maximizing my addiction I guess. I'm writing this to you for your benefit. Maybe you do this same thing while watching other KZbin channels. In any case I find this interesting. You guys do really great work! Cheers!

I lived there for only 3 years in BJ, but it was enough for me to see the good AND the bad of China, and I must say it was very refreshing to hear your point of views and experiences, that were actually not so far from my own experience, and it brought back old memories from my time there (good and bad). Obviously, China has changed a lot in a few years, but from what I hear and see in your videos, it is still the same as 10 years ago (just bigger and more connected).
