DC, for me, closer to the office, property value increases at a higher rate, and a grant that makes my kids pay the equivalent of in state tuition no matter what school they attend. I was able to get a sizeable home with a yard and off-street parking for a great price in 2018.

I love the bungalows in Brookland…very traditional in Brookland. But the crime is out of control in DC which, as a resident, it breaks my heart.

Yes the bungalows in brookland are awesome. Not too common in many other DC neighborhoods. As far as the crime goes, hopefully they get it under control rather sooner than later 😔

I have a house in Maryland, about 17 miles from DC. I couldn't stand to hear DC's police sirens all night long. I actually have wild bunnies hopping in my back yard.
