I am so inspired by Chris - and this speech did not disappoint! Be joyous in EVERYTHING. Good and bad. Be grateful in hardships and focus on your blessings every day, whenever you can think about it. Cut off by an aggressive driver? Change your mindset and not only give 5 finger praise wave, but think about that that person may need to get somewhere fast due to many reasons - hospital, loved one is hurt, late for job and will be fired bc this is the last straw…you don’t know and don’t need to know. And perhaps your guardian angel saved you from an accident by having that person cut you off. Thank HIM for it…praise Jesus for Chris’ ability to deliver his message in a powerful way that resonates in today’s “messy “ world.

I love particularly this talk on our Faith and the direction it must take. Certainly, this talk presents the beneficial aspects of living in unison with God Almighty (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) as we exhibit in our lives Joy, Peace, Hope, Love, Forgiveness, Fortitude, Fear of the Lord, Piety, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Compassion, Goodness, Self-Control, Patience, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness. If you ask me being a son or daughter of our Heavenly Father, our Creator, and Great God Almighty and carrying or living his great virtues, precepts, principles, laws has a Spring effect in my life. Indeed, I would go and affirm in the same vein as Saint Paul, It is rather emancipating and liberating this way of living than claustrophobic and persecutive. Attach then yourself to the Vine at all time and let the Vigneron pour his Grace upon you 🙏.

My Epiphany came when i was very young and there was a very old woman dressed all in black and she used to pray in church everyday and i didn't understand why. She lost children to war, scarlet fever, she lost her husband to a long disease and raised the rest of the children alone. Why was she in church praying with all that misery in her life. I had to know what she knew.

I love this man. I sent four feet away from him I was moved. When I got home and my husband sort of picked on me I said I'm a child of God. I wouldn't have said that if I'd not seen Chris that night. I couldn't walk upstairs there was no seating so man put me in my friend right down in the front row. I would thank him everyday of my life for his speeches. Thank you Chris you are so awesome.

Remigius mentions Nero only to mark the time. Theophylact will also mention "kings and rulers" like Nero, but that's about it! The point of the latter passage was that following Christ will cause some to be delivered to the councils. Some will be beaten and/or brought before these kings, like Nero.

I confessed this once and the persist asked if i came from a warm home. My home had everything provided and we were well to do but it was not a lovey-dovey environment. It was kind-of German. For me, after some of the most difficult years of my life, I sought God more deeply. I felt a need to be at the foot of the cross, it was the only place I felt peace. I came and sat at His feet. For a couple of years. I went to a counselor (Catholic) and the Way of the Cross was across the parking lot-I was drawn there. I contemplated on each step forward and fell in love with Christ there. I didn't need to talk, thought I did sometimes. I contemplated why Christ would have gone through all of that turmoil and pain for us weary & frail human beings. I began to feel God's great great love for us & for me. I cried, a lot! His love for us is immense. How could I not love such a God? I came from a crazy weird family, but we really CAN make our lives be transformed, through the seeking of God..and joy!!! You be blessed. I pray today you feel that great love-it's beautiful!

I can respect him as a preacher in the evangelistic style he has, but I wouldn’t know he is Catholic except he said he is. Even the backdrop doesn’t reveal Catholicism. No crucifix, he didn’t fold his hands to pray. no mention of Sacraments, Eucharist or go to Mass to be a real Catholic.
