Got to love those Arizona gas prices! As a Californian I was shocked on my road trip to the Grand Canyon in December. Gas in Needles was $6 and 40 miles away $3.89

Fuel economy was one of the big reasons I bought my Colorado diesel, 33 highway stock and even after leveling and hanging 32 ATs and removing the chin spoiler I still get 26-7 highway. I towed a 1968 Deep J2000 Gladiator on a 2 axle flat bed from Brawley Ca to Paulden AZ and got 15 MPG. Unfortunately they discontinued the diesel.

My go to nomad peanut butter sandwich is pb and sliced banana. I always buy too many bananas and the overripe ones are perfect for sammiches. Flagstaff and Sedona are freaking col! It may be too far, there’s BLM land just south of Ayo that is very pleasant. More desert garden like plants as well as mountain scenery. Less people too. Ayo has a super market and good choice of restaurants. And the Organpipe Cactus National Monument is free! The loop road is great and has lots of trails.

Hi Jon, Just pick yourself up a set of good old air shocks. You can probably find somebody that can install them easy enough on your travels. Then you can air them up to level yourself out. I think Monroe has them for about a $100. for the pair. Cheaper than the springs plus you probably need shocks anyway if your getting bounce. Take care! -Jon

I haven't checked in on your channel in a while and I must say I like the simpler video style and doing a camping setup that most of us regular folks can do. (Some make their setup look like the Radisson on the inside and that gets repetitious after a while.) Sedona is also one of the few places out west I've actually had the pleasure of visiting. That one Butte in the distance looks sooo familiar to me. I can't wait to visit there again someday. Have fun!

Hey dude ecoflow makes an alternator charger that hooks right up to your battery it’s super easy to install. It makes it 800w to charge your battery. Idk if it’s only good for ecoflow products but maybe theres other one exists for you anker ? I thought id bring it up cause of the trouble you were having a couple videos ago charging your battery. Anyways enjoy the ride and safe travels !!!!!

You should install a small lift kit instead of just replacing the rear leaves. If the rear springs are shot the front suspension is equally as worn out probably. It would definitely make the truck ride and handle much better.

FYI; all the "snowbirds" are in AZ for the winter. They come from the midwest to escape the cold. That is why all the places are super busy. They are retired & spend the winters in warmer climates. I can't handle the heat of AZ either. Miserable. The Huachuca Mountains in AZ (the southeast corner) are sweet. They are south of Tucson in the high desert (9,600 ft). near the town of Sierra Vista, AZ.
