Love this video, i had 4 days spotting at Heathrow in January and visited Myrtle Avenue several times. Didnt know that this down load was available, im going to add it to my Heathrow Extream scenery....thanks mate.

@FSXPilot1234 I don't understand your question. Myrtle Avenue is not situated right underneath the glideslope for 27L if that's what you mean, it's just over to the left, which is how it's shown in the scenery too. To get the same views as shown in the video, you need to position your tower camera in the right place near the end of Myrtle Avenue.

@FSXPilot1234 They don't pass directly over it, it just looks like they're right overhead because of the angle the shots were taken from.

@googleisshittoss I used a virtual cockpit view from a user aircraft to get this free panning view - in slew mode you can move your aircraft around freely with arrow keys/joystick, in order to move to a given spot quickly without needing to taxi/fly there. To be honest, it would be much easier now to use a nifty tool called FSRecorder, and create a custom tower view. I wasn't so up to speed with FSRecorder's view functions when Myrtle was released, otherwise I would have recommended that!

You can't, it hasn't been released yet. It's being tested now and hopefully will be available later on in the month. Thanks for the nice comments btw :)

@curimedia Hi Curi - not at the moment I'm afraid. I'm sorry it's been so long, I just haven't really had the time to resolve the niggling issues I've encountered with packaging it up. What I may do as an interim measure is simply upload the bgl and bmp files 'unpackaged', with some brief install notes (and a disclaimer!) - more experienced simmers that have knowledge of scenery design should be able to install it and get it working. What do you think?

@useTube220794 Hi there, I'm aware of the issues in FSX. The scenery was designed for FS2004, FSX is not supported. I am hoping to develop an FSX version in the future, but I do not know at this time when that will be available I'm afraid.

@curimedia Hi Curi - just to let you know, I've just uploaded a beta test version of this scenery to Avsim. Should be available shortly, check the forums at UK2000 scenery for updates :)

Pros of living there! -best 24/7 action less than 100ft from your house! A big variety of aircraft! You'll get thousand of views when you put the vid and pics on KZbin. Cons! I don't think you'll sleep that much! You always have to run outside to see what aircraft it is! And whenever a 747, A380 An-225, An-124 or Concorde flies over your house shakes like if the would be an earthquake double the size of the one the happened I haiti and Japan combined! :D wish I lived there!
