※ Dolby Atmos Demo Video was used only as a source to lights.
This is a simple KZbin video, not an environment with Dolby Atmos technology applied.
This is a light show using the Hue Sync box.
At the same time, 10 lights(GU10 bulbs) are controlled as an Entertainment Area through the Hue Sync Box, and the rest of the lights(Light Strips) operate through separate control.
All Light Levels in the Entertainment Area were set to the ceiling level, and the location was also set the same as the actual light location.
With this setting, the color of the lower part of the screen is synchronized with the back lights.
I hope this description helps your setup. :)

Nvidia Shield TV Pro (for video capturing by Hue Play SyncBox)
Philips Hue Bridge

Been looking at the gradient lightstrip for my 65'' LG TV but what I don't like is the fact that it has a U share and you clearly need more lighting for the lower part. I see you've mentioned "Philips Hue Light Strip (x5) + extensions", so I am assuming that the extensions they sell separately can also be added to the pre-cut 65'' they have? I have not seen anywhere anybody doing this, always adding the Philips bars or an extra independent light strip to the bottom, which in my opinion is just a crapy fixed.

@@TheDanitus I don't mind the lights being bright per se. It's just, when all edges on your TV are white, every bulb goes on. There will also be other scenarios, where it just doesn't make sense that the lights in the back will turn on. It just so happens that this demo doesn't include those footages. I hope in the future there will be light systems, that make use of data added by filmmakers similar to spatial audio.

I have the Phillips Hue Play lighting and sync box with 4 lights around my tv and it takes movie watching to a new level. My question is, if I add more hue Play lights to the back of my room, can I get similar affects?

Yes of course. Proper placement is important, but more lights give you more experience.

In my place, before pandemic period when people watching in real theater they begin to open their smartphone and scrolling their social media without knowing that its light will bother anyone behind them, it's so annoying and keep happening so many times in several different theater in my town. Does it also happen in the other country?
