i did this also first of january :D i had my tree up by that time for a month so i got tired. :) your home is lovely. i also have fireplace like that but its electrical. here in nordic countries and scandinavia we are more minimalistic, less is always more.

I have a mix real and faux. I think if they look realistic in a vessel, they look great. I personally don’t like the waste of flowers that you have to throw out every week. For that reason I love faux stems but when it comes to plants, I go for real ones.

Thank you very much 🥰♥️ I like to use fake stems most of the time cause I can re use them whenever I want all year long, and sometimes when it’s spring and summertime I’ll get some fresh flowers in a vase but it’s so sad how fast they die :( And for plants, I love real plants, I tried to only have real plants in the past but I always end up killing them unfortunately 😭

I think you have went a bit crazy with all these pots and you might want to watch some videos on how to Upcycle a piece of furniture because that unit with no handles is just not right and would look much better chalk painted and distressed in my opinion. ❤
