I wish you the best of luck in your new place and adventure! Glad the Effexor is working; doesn't it make you crave sugar and bad foods? When I was on it I couldn't get my hands on enough "crap" to shovel down my gullet and could barely get out of bed and function either. Not on that one any more. I have to have ambien for sleep, is that what you're taking or is it something different. Best of luck to you and look forward to more videos!

I know what you mean about being extremely busy. I just started college in Toronto, but I'm living in the Niagara area, so I have to take the bus to and from school every day. In total, I spend 6 hours a day on the bus and subway. By the time I get home, I have time to get something to eat, and then I have to go to bed to get up the next morning at 5 am again. I don't have any time to do anything when I get home, so I have to do homework between classes at school. It's so exhuasting.

Ive been thinking about getting drugs for depression/anxiety. I have had these things for so long and im tired of coping with it. Already tried changing to a healthy diet, a lot of exercise, meditation, spiritual stuff. Quit recreational substances. The things that are supposed to help, but they arent enough for me. Im extremely health conscious. But you get to a point where you rather just do a chemistry experiment on your brain then stay in the emotional prison any longer.

Noted the grapefruit slices? I’m afraid of eating that fruit on ssris for fear of an interaction. I know it doesn’t interact with all ssris, or probably even most, but I did experience the interaction with diazepam which was mildly unpleasant.

Hello Broken Harbour. I just ran across your videos within the last few days. Today is January 04, 2014 if you want to note the date in the future. I have a Master's degree in psychology and I'm in Connecticut. Also, I am a full time psychology teacher on high school level, AP and IB (International Baccalaureate) students . In other words, academically high-flying seniors. Allow me to say that the wealth of information you are giving on Asperger's is truly a treasure. You are so clear - so lucid - articulate - and so eloquent. Although my Master's is in General Psychology, my unofficial concentration was in childhood psychopathology. That, of course, is clearly not you, as Asperger's is a neurological disorder. Pardon me for going on and on about this, but the knowledge and experiences you are sharing is absolutely scholarly. May I ask if you are aware that if you took all of your videos and compiled them in an orderly way - so that they flowed - that you are sitting on a book? I say that because in one of your videos, you give a review of many books that you, yourself have read. Many of them, of course, are autobiographical. So the question is: what can't one of those autobiographical books be yours? I will be posting again, but can I suggest a future video? I believe a good topic would be as follows: What it like to have a meltdown from the inside. Okay, I've blabbed too long. Can't wait for your response.

Wow, yeah I definitely did not want to commute to and from school everyday. This appt is about 10 minutes away from the campus! How is school going so far?

It's going pretty well. I'm studying microbiology, and I've taken medical and other science courses before, so most of what we've been learning is review for me. I've been trying to find an apartment in Toronto, but I don't have much time to contact people, let alone go and see the apartments. I really hope I find something soon. How is school going for you? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what school are you going to? Are you still in Toronto?

You speak very openly about your life and well-being. Thank you for that. How are you doing now?
