He is brilliant and dynamic! Before the pandemic we were in discussions with his team to have him on-we should revive this plan!

Very interesting, thank you! Ouestion: How come so many conductors come from Finland? Impossible to find an answer perhaps, but as a swede I have often wondered about that.

That’s a good question-we don’t immediately have the answer, although in our episode with Susanna Mälkki she talks about Finland with its tradition of many conductors-we hope that might shed some light even if not giving a specific number ✨

Mahler is a bore. Young people don't like classical because they're being force fed all these hours of boring Mahler. Youth orchestras don't like him either. Just ask them. Mahler is old man, boring music.

There isn’t anything more exciting than the finale of Mahler 2. If it’s boring to you, the piece is likely not the problem. Ask the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. They tour the world with Mahler and are excited. And where are young people being force-fed Mahler? We would love to know where such attempts are being made!

@@Living-the-Creative-Life Why did you change Living the Classical Life to Living the Creative Life? Because "Classical" is online poison? I'm not saying that that is because of endless Mahler symphonies and endless Mahler symphony programming but........ read the room. Mahler 2 isn't bad. I like the Klemperer recording.

We’ve expanded. As for reading the room, we invite you to do the same, and also to find some joy in your day ✨
