He should be like this in all his appearances. Dominant over everything. Unphased by even things like the classic gauntlet. Notice he doesn't seem moved or affected by anything that Warlock does? He's not some powerful character to be abused to show off another characters might. It's so dumb for him to ever even fight much less lose one. Great video Fernando.

Those aren't even the worst. The beyonders are broken outerversal beings, and they at least showed some respect by having them gang up on him, when 1 beyonder could solo the rest of the multiverse. Thanos was channeling TOAA's power when he beat him, meaning the only character who SHOULD be able to beat LT was amping Thanos. The REALLY bad jobbing came along when Lords Chaos/Order defeated him, and it was handwaved as " the new cosmic order wasn't stable yet." And when Nightmare defeated him, because the whole universe was asleep and he "Dreamed it was possible."

When Adam Warlock was in the Dimensions of Manifestation and the Living Tribunal explicitly states that if he clashes with Adam Warlock who was armed with the Infinity Gauntlet it would lay waste to reality and the dimensions they were in if they fought.
@Yokai_Yuri18 күн бұрын
The OLD Living Tribunal would absolutely stomp Adam Warlock. Didn't you see how less than effortless the Tribunal undo what the gauntlet did? The tribunal isn't a fighter as other cosmic entities, he is like a judge. The only problem with the old tribunal is that it was kind of incompetent because as you can see right here, Warlock was a menace to the universal balance(which the L.T supervises and manages) and he even let Warlock destroy eternity not once but twice lmao. No wonder why the LT got hyper squashed by 3 random beyonders.
@willchurch83762 жыл бұрын
While I've always been a DC guy, one thing that I used to appreciate in Marvel was their 'limits'. Not everyone, even very good, very heroic people could lift Mjolnir. No one, not even with the Infinity Gauntlet, could threaten the Living Tribunal. They even made a point to show that during the Marvel/DC Amalgam crossover, the 'Brothers' who were supposedly beyond the Living Tribunal (and Spectre who was seen as LT's DC counterpart) were simply playing out parts that the LT observed. There used to be a fairly clear power level breakdown, where you might beat say, Mephisto, but definitely not in his own realm. There were entities that could be fought, but not beaten, and you needed to resort to logic, or trickery, or something beyond brute force to actually win. That's not really the case anymore. The Living Tribunal has been reduced to Worf. Hulk is God. Anyone stunning and brave enough grabs ahold of Mjolnir and smacks around the cosmic entities of the universe with it to show that they're the new it thing. It's a shame.

I agree with you 💯 marvel an DC have allowed the earth bound heroes to confront skyfathers an cosmic entities like they are street level characters it's terrible.
@willchurch83762 жыл бұрын
@@christopherhinton1555 Well, DC had a hard time ever setting limits in the first place, and then you have things like 'Jobberseid' and 'True Form Darkseid' to try and make the problem go away. Of course, it just kicks the can down the road until they want to show off a new hero's stunning bravery or brave stunningness, and have said hero wipe the floor with him. DC invented "mumblty mumble molecules" to explain their nonsense while Marvel was still bothering to show us Thanos being tricked by Mephisto into intentionally lowering his power level with the Infinity Gauntlet so that he could have some fun fighting the assembled heroes of the universe. Captain America doesn't show up with the codes to the Thanoscopter's self destruct function and threaten Thanos into backing down, he comes in with his shield, gives his absolute best, which we all know isn't enough in this instance, and Thanos smokes him. Cap goes out like a bad ass, refusing to bend even in the face of absolute power. It's a good showing for Cap, it's impressive as all hell, even *though* he loses. Now, no one knows how to write a story where the losing character looks more impressive than the winning one. Hell, they barely know how to write a story where the winning character looks more impressive than the losing one. Marvel really took the wrong page from DC's book. Both companies had their strong points and appeal once. And they've both lost that awhile ago. Superman 1 Million getting roflstomped was the last in a very long line of stupid power upsets for me. I'll watch Fernando's clips, and that's enough comics for this thirty five year long fan.
@Tracks20082 жыл бұрын
@@willchurch8376 Yeah that's what Marvel has done. They have become like DC where there are no limits to anyone's power now. I like that you are pointing that out as it is the whole truth. Marvel was only ever "better" because their characters had limits instead of random BS writing that was all over the place. Then Marvel (possibly at Disney's urging) decided to go the way of DC.

@@theanonymousterryhall5419 The Living Tribunal was always depicted to be the most powerful cosmic enitity in Marvel yet having no free will of his own eternally bound to serve and function as judge of the Multiverse. The other cosmic entities particularly the abstracts are like LT unimaginably powerful yet bounded to thier duty/tasks to make sure reality run as it should. Then you have Galactus Watchers and the Celestials who are not abstract but nevertheless uber powerful yet still bound to thier tasks. It was a strange throw away line, because moments before that he snapped his fingers and immediately stopped the powerful fit of rage Adam was having with the gauntlet. It was momentarily removed from his hand also. He even said that his powers are far beyond even the gauntlet. Makes sense. As a multiverse being with power above all of them, one reality with one gauntlet doesn’t have any effect on him. The other entities around him are just the cosmic powers of that one universe.
