I love that Bas said neurologists(I include GPs) ignore changes in younger people and women pointing at the young woman. Felt like he was talking to me. I put my frozen shoulder, stiffness and lack of arm swing down to an early menopause which they also didn’t diagnose. Luckily, being quite sporty and discovering adrenalin fuelled paragliding I managed quite well for a long time.

Just on exercise, I know Bas says there’s no excuse but I’ve just started a new full time job and am totally knackered by the end of the day. It’s hard enough taking meds on time in between meetings let alone finding 5 mins for a sweaty exercise snack. Unfortunately I have to work as I’m not disabled enough for government support.
