Why does everyone always go on about the X6's rear boot capacity? "The sloping roof means you can't carry as much as an X5." Well DUH*! Of course you can't carry as much. It's the coupe version. So it has that sloping roof line. However, it seems plenty big enough for 90% of people's needs. And if someone needs more space, then get the X5. Obvious!! But I think this version of the X6 is gorgeous and personally, I'd take it over the X5 anyday just for its looks. Good video EddieX

Owner of the previous Gen X6. I have never missed the extra Cargo space in the rear! For the one time a year that I need to pick up something that won’t fit, I just have that sh*t delivered lol! It just looks so much more sporty than the X5. The X6 is a crossover that a younger person can get away driving. The X5 looks like a 40+ year old car and I’m 43………LOL!

I love this car and hate hearing about the less cargo space versus the X5. I have yet to miss any cargo space. Why would BMW make the same car twice, LOVE the sporty style of the X6. The steering wheel lights, changing lane, and grill light features are so cool.

Also, when u do launch control, u want to hold it (build boost) a bit longer. No more than 3 seconds. It will launch harder.

As an X4 M40i owner, I love the sport activity coupe sloped back look... Never understood the level of hate for these, nor the level of love for the square back SUVs. But my gosh BMW has lost their fricking mind with pricing. Who are these people out there willing to throw away tens of thousands of dollars in depreciation on these overpriced cars? I bought my X4 CPO for nearly half its original sale price, 3 years old. Great review btw, the silver mirrors are something they've been doing on the M40i and M50i models. Lastly, all hail green BMWs! Not a huge fan of Manhattan green, (too safe), hoping BMW brings back more dark metallic greens, if the silly '90s green car=bad stigma is finally fading. P.S. My 83 year old Dad said he went to Plymouth to pick up girls in high school too! So funny you said that.

Interesting. I like the lights in the grill actually. Maybe just not the fact that the grills keep getting bigger though. Would personally opt for the x5m if I was looking for something in the SUV segment, just don't see a reason for that sloping back roof other than looks which is also debatable/preference.

Beautiful car mate, touch wood The Manhattan green is awesome new color. For 100k u get the 40i msport here in UAE. They give u 5 years service for free includes all parts but not tyres. Still dont think it's good value for money but this is how it's done here .. its intersection though to see how some options comes standard in the cheapest x6 here such as the crystal gear knob. Yeah; I'm an overall fan of BMWs, but holy hell -- 90% of them are black, white, or grey (with black, on black, on black interiors). I love the more unusual colors and interiors.

I don't get why you say the sound pumped in the cabin is not authentic, does it not come from the engine compartment? To me a non authentic sound would mean the engine sound is synthesized/created by the amp/sound system artificially not just pass-thru.
