Though they are different, I would be interested in seeing this against the new X3M Comp! I would never consider this vehicle, but seeing as how (and I do give props to Alfa) they did better BMW for what it is (despite its insanely large and annoying headlights), it does better the comp ... on some things. I know it’s their first try to come back.... so, some things will not be industry leading options or standard items, but they got the main things right.

What a gorgeous machine. Love my Guilia Quad however, trading up to this beast on Friday. Looked at the Germans MB and Bmw but you can not beat the power and dynamics of these Quadrafoglio. Happy new year all.

7 months later how is it? I love this SUV and love how rare it is but it scares me because I want these to stick around. Highly considering it
@jamesjannell87064 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul Johnson , I absolutely love my Stelvio Quad and really happy I jumped from the Guilia to this. It’s actually a second vehicle for me but since January did put about 6400 miles on it without a single issue. I’m not really worried about the long term future of Alfa and rather just enjoying this beast. It’s nice because you just don’t see many out there so we must be unique. 😊
@pauljohnson9624 жыл бұрын
James Jannell That’s great to hear!! Happy that you are enjoying the vehicle. I know too many people with BMW M and AMGs so I want to stick out and from the reviews I’ve seen of the vehicle it’s been pretty great. Anyways I appreciate the response and stay safe ! 🤝👍🏾

@@markzuckerberg2723 Never buy a new one., I think for a 1 year old one its kinda worth it... put you'r cruise on 111mph and go with 9l diesel per 100km on the daily commute...could be worser.. I have a short commute, a diesel wouldn't calculate for me and since I don't drive Autobahn daily I dont really see the need for a "travel sedan" as BMW 5, E Class and so on are called in germany.

@@markzuckerberg2723 Its definitely a bang for your buck if you buy it used. I saw some really low mileage used ones for 64+ Any SUV with a Ferrari engine in it will hold its value for years. The only thing thats currently stopping the Alfa Romeo brand from being a legitimate contender in the states, as far as sales go is unknown reliability only time will tell.

EddieX this is more in competition with the X3M though is it not? There’s really nothing that can compete with the SQ5 with the price point that it can be had at.

At 10:25, the difference between Alfa and BMW (and their respective owners)....Alfa throws one Quad badge on each side of the exterior of the car, and THAT'S IT !! BMW throws "M" badges anywhere and everywhere they can.....and then to make matters worse, they spit in the collective faces of their fanboys by throwing "M" TRIM packages on every thing they make thereby destroying the uniqueness of their "performance models"....If Alfa ever starts throwing Quad badges around like candy on Halloween, I'm going back to Volvo !!! FORZA ALFA BABY !!!! THE KING IS BACK !!!!!

Touch screens suck, hate oily grimy finger marks onscreen, and you spend more time looking at the screen and stretching over to touch the screen in many cases, conveniently positioned knobs are tops. Anyways Alfas don't need infotainments as the entertainment is driving the driver's car.

Carbon Ceramic breaks are such a huge scam, why would you want them unless you’re tracking the car? I think they are unnecessary

Tracking these ceramic brakes? Ummm... no unless you are super rich. Last for 90k miles on the street with virtually no dust though.

'they last a very long time when used for a street far....100,000 miles is normal. BUT for those who track them.....they don't last that long and they are extremely expensive to replace. I have a friend that tracks both a Giulia QV and a Stelvio QV (both highly modded. He pulled the carbon ceramic brakes off his Giulia and saved them for when he sells the car and is using regular rotors to save money. These are impressive cars....I am an ALFA fan and have a 2015 4C LE bought new lightly modded....trouble free and bullet proof on track. Had a 1970 ALFA Duetto I also bought new and kept for over 40 years before selling it for the garage space for the 4C. There were some bad nears for ALFA....80s mainly but they are back with a vengeance and GREAT cars. Also had a 67 ALFA GTV SCCA race car for a couple of years in the 70s. Have oened LOTS of other brands over my 72 years but only ALFA stays for a long time in my garage.....the other cars are just "Appliances" but not an ALFA.
