Example: I play drums, but you won't see me running around trying to teach everyone I meet how to play a paradiddle. 4) The reason you're told to only "invest what you can afford to lose" isn't necessarily because you're going to lose it, but if you do go all-in the market will have complete control over your sense of financial well-being, and 1-3 won't matter because Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs says so.
