Hey everyone, for the most part the comments on this video have been highly positive, but for those who are unsure, I just wanted to clarify a few things. Both Betul's brother and his friend hung out with us in the home during the time I was there. They didn't appear on camera as much, so I can understand that it looks as if they weren't actually there with us. Additionally, those questioning the integrity of this family should know that Betul and her Mum did not even sleep in the same apartment overnight as me and her brother. They went to their Grandmother's house which was in a different neighbourhood. They went to great lengths to ensure I felt comfortable as their guest and to also honour their religion. Hopefully this video shows how great, lifelong experiences can be found when we don't put up barriers between nationalities, religions and people.

Amazing... I'm from Serbia. And all these food and we eat. And our grandmothers used to wear clothes like this. A scarf and a mandatory vest. Take me back to my childhood. For those who don't know, Serbia was 500 years under the Ottoman Empire. Urmasic, you're a cleacher, and we're still eating it today! Oh, yes, we all take it out the window😂

Temiz ev, temiz ve güzel yemekler, eli yüzü temiz bayanlar, Türk İnsanı bir başka. Ev sahibinin sunduğu konforu ve lezzetli yemekleri 5 yıldızlı otelde bulamazsın. Videoyu izlerken böyle akrabalarım olsa da gidip yanlarında misafir olsam bir kaç gün kalsam dedim kendi kendime..

I have been living in Turkey for 4 years now. There was a time when I had no place to stay after my university graduation. When my Turkish friend's family heard of my situation, they hosted me for 5 months and treated me like their own family. May God bless them! <3
