He is listed at a Vice President of the ALS foundation for board of directors. This is in 2020. I found a video of him discussing his favorite restaurants dated 2018. My own twin sister suffered with ALS for 3 years onset to death mid June. It is different for everyone and always heart breaking.

God help us...you can just tell the people like Clay are just top notch. The character, the kindness, and in trial even the countenance. To me he and others like him are already miracles (Lou Gehrig: “I consider myself the luckiest man alive...”; unreal:,), but I truly hope and pray for a miracle that can touch these great people and bring relief and even help them & us overcome. To the sufferers of this disease and other MND as well as other debilitating diseases: Thank you for being so brave. Your bravery is amazing and needs to be rewarded. You are amazing and it’s not right that physical ailments stop the world from experiencing you. I’m glad for this glance into what should be a long, long look. 1 love

i lost 3 very important women in my life due to this heartbreaking disease. my mom (passed at 79) passed away after 1 year of fighting. she lost the ability to eat, move, talk, and breath on her own. my sister (passed at 41) passed away after 4 horrible months of fighting. she was on a ventilator after just 3 weeks of being diagnosed. she had noticed symptoms and was starting to lose basic skills but never went to see a doctor until she couldn’t walk one day. she was diagnosed in the late stages and passed in less than a year. my wife (passed away 3 months ago, on my birthday at 40). my wife was on a ventilator for 3 days and had lost the ability to eat, talk, walk, and was having trouble breathing on her own. she decided after 3 days that she was just gonna live the time she had left. she passed after 4 weeks of not being on a ventilator. my daughter was diagnosed with als last year (at age 17) and i am her caregiver when i am home (i work at an office 5 days a week) and she has caregivers that come while i’m away. she needs 24/7 care and has lost the ability to do anything on her own. doctors say she has around 1-2 years (or even less) left. this is the worst disease you could ever be diagnosed with. i’m praying for everyone else who has had to go through this / had family go through this.

I do not agree at all that is as hard for the family as it is for the person. As horrible as it is for the family, it is 10x worse for the person to gradually lose all their abilities physically and die without living in the fulfilling manner anyone would prefer leading up to it.

There should be a Research Foundation working like the UN or WWF where all countries put some money and researchers and developed medications for all citizens of the world to a cheap price they could afford. It is such a waste that we do not work together instead of private corps competing and charging the lives out of the people.

Arthur Munoz - You’ve been dangerously indoctrinated with lies. And you’ll die having never been brave enough to educate yourself about the truth. You’re a waste of life and a waste to humanity because you contribute absolutely nothing of value. You’re egotistical and selfish to preach bullshit while people suffer with diseases that science will eventually cure. I hope you like warm places - it’s hot where you’re headed!!
