Installation charges vary from person to person. I stay in 22nd Floor and my allocated parking is in 2nd basement. Instead of getting wiring done from 22nd floor to basement 2. My builder gave me connection from common panel so load was not an issue. I installed a submeter, 2 MCB, 40m wire. Total cost is 25K. Electricity unit chare from builder is 7.2rs/unit+500rs Load charges/monthly. Still a lot cheaper than any ICE or hybrid. Drove around 3K in 1 month and total expenditure is less than 1000rs since TATA is providing 6month of free charging at their chargers. TATA Curvv Accomplishes Plus S 55.

I think the pricing depends on the state also. I live in Mumbai and i had to pay no cost for the wiring and installation. Around 11 meters of cables were used. Yes the Maharashtra State Electricity Board meter was installed for subsidised electricity, which costed around 10k.

The feature list is Amazing! I totally love it. The pricing is not known, the mentioned price is just the base vanilla variant. My guess is BE 6E will be 28-30lac for the top end. It's still gonna be a great product at that price PROVIDED the cars don't have too many early bugs and issues.. Guess time will tell.

what he said about installation cost is really true, my case was different , my shed was far from my apartment , so our local electricity provider after 6 months allowed to setup a electric post beside our shed and provide sperate connection just to the shed. now i have lightining and charging . it costed me around 35k, i opted for normal 3.2kw for my punch ev, as slow charging is best for health and i can just plug it in at night and have a full battery by morning.

no ev does 7 km per kwh. so if you are traveling 1000 km a that will be 150 units . considering the units price of 10 rs it will cost you 1500 rs.

@@SASA-dj7bf Absolutely correct. Currently TATA, MG, Cirtoen all give different packaged versions of 8 Years or 1,60,000km warranty. MG Windsor & new Mahindra's are an exception giving a lifetime warranty to the first owner which levels down to the above mentioned warranty when you buy the car used as a 2nd/3rd hand.

But practically EVs are not really good for environment. Hybrids makes most sense, low running cost, no range anxiety. No burden of battery recycling or replacement. Yes running cost is best but range anxiety and lack of charging infra is biggest issue
