she is resilient and a blessing is that she does not know any different. I have eczema thats pretty bad and when you dont know any different. There is a blessing in not being able to compare (meaning compare to not having a skin disease), when that is all you know. I dont know a life without cracked skin, itchy all the time, rashy. Sometimes it makes life miserable and every day it impacts my life but thats life. I would think she feels the same. Its just part of your life. I am like her to a different extent that I constantly lotion my body daily, I dont have a protective barrier like normal skin. So my skin soaks up lotion like a sponge. You are on a constant hunt to find lotions that are not thin. With my condition, I look at her and I feel for her. I may not have her condition but I have consequences that are like hers to a different extent. Open wounds, peeling skin, super dry skin is what other skin conditions share and its not fun. Its like my condition on steroids. There is no cure for eczema, so I dont see there being any cure for hers. When both are genetic. Even psorasis is a sibling condition to eczema and there is no cure for that. Pain is real with skin diseases and doctors do not understand the relationship between pain receptors and skin. I have spent months in terrible pain. Cant sleep and cant shower. Wearing clothing can be a hardship but I do it anyway for obvious reasons. You want the pain to go away but it doesn't work like that and not as fast as you want it too.

I’m so glad she experienced love and having her own children and getting married. What a kind and wonderful husband she had. I’m so sad to find out she passed away. But I’m so happy she was able to have so much love and support around her and share her story.

Her kids will need to have their future partner/partners tested before they try having kids (if they end up wanting any) so they can make sure they won't be born with the condition
