I was diagnosed late spring of 22. Stage 3c. The day of tje biopsy of a weird freckle on my arm, the lymph nodes on my collarbone blew up. My primary saw me the same day and was very concerned i had cancer of a major organ. Long story short, i was lucky, only 3 of the 26 were affected. But immunotherapy is not an option because i have lupus. The risk of severe health problems is too great for the small chance itd work. A year of getting scans every few months and then lymph nodes in my armpit showed up enlarged. Went through biopsy and then surgery in Oct of 23. Once again, ive lucked out, only a handful of the bunch and tissue were affected. But once again, i cant do immunotherapy. The risk is to great because i have lupus. So here i sit, scans in a couole weeks feeling like i have a big target on me. Again. Ive changed my diet, i take turkey tail mushrooms, exercise more. Doing what i can but feeling helpless.

My derm just calles and said hey lets talk about your biopsy. Its cancer I setting you up with a surgeon. Kind of impersonal if you as me but hey. I dint like the surgeon but thats what ai got assigned. Not having lympnode biopsy. If its spread...i dont want to know. Im 70. Maybe its time.
