This is why if I ever do date I will have whoever I date take an mbti test. I'd have to marry a thinker and preferably intuitive. I can see that your soon to be ex wife lives in her own reality and seems to think based on her feelings. You are a trooper for lasting so long with her. Was she always like that or did she change? You seem like you have tried your best to be reasonable and logical with her for so long. Hope the process continues to go relatively smoothly for you.

Like I've said before the first several years with her were actually great, there were a few fairly minor things but overall things were very very good. She made many logical decisions during that time period and even during the ten years of crap I suffered with her if it was a decision that wasn't about us or our relationship she was logical. She's capable of it but she became so entitled and delusional over the years regarding our relationship that she can't see what the reality of our situation is even now.

@@baldmetalnerd I see, well good luck man, I am sorry that you have had to go through such a difficult trial. I guess you can never know how a person can change long term. I hope that you can enter a healthy relationship in the future or find happiness and satisfaction within yourself. Good luck man, keep fighting the good fight!

Sleeping in different rooms is just a good idea - but I wouldn't survive a blow-up mattress.

It's not ideal but I got a mattress topper tonight I'll be sleeping on it for the first time we'll see how it goes.
