Love the tiny house here, she did very well, but what I miss sometimes is the aspect of land. She created a beautiful place on rented, borrowed or bought land ????. Land is a big part of the total budget. Would be nice with videos including tips, tricks and strategies for the tiny house placement and land.
@louisegogel79732 жыл бұрын
@@larsstougaard7097 Mostly Bryce does cover that aspect… this is the first video I’ve seen where he doesn’t, and I am guessing there might be a privacy reason for leaving that information out.
@larsstougaard70972 жыл бұрын
@@louisegogel7973 thanks , but I have seen many videos on this channel and other places. Often it's just mentioned, we rent the land or this is family land, we stay for free or yes bought land. But I can't recall any talks or discussions about land cost or rent , that gives you a sense of total cost. I would just love to get a estimate on what it cost monthly to live this life style in different areas, countries and sizes of land. How expensive is a plot of land in New Zealand , like some examples ? What is the gap between renting a normal house and this on the open market, that would be interesting. Here in Denmark there are many regulations and I saw one guy building a tiny house on a normal house plot , the total cost house and plot was like over $ 400.000.

I really think this is just my favourite house ever, it's so beautiful and cosy and endearing. The layout is perfect, the circular window is so wonderfully whimsical, the decoration is the perfect blend of simplistic and warm. It's just so cool. And the fact that she's lived there for two years - in a way you can tell, but it's impressive nonetheless, especially in comparison to so many of these videos where people have barely lived in the place for three months. Good job! Most are just fending for mostly themselves & leaving supporters to fend for themselves, but if the SHTF for real & you lose most of your supporters because the rug has been pulled out from under THEM, then what will you do? Would you pléase seek out and report on ANY locations where people can go and build a Tiny house while helping others build their tiny house after-hours, while helping build tiny houses for a Tiny house business? It would be best connected and adjacent to, an organic farming community, or to itself, start up an adjacent organic farming community. It should be brainstormed and designed by many, to look gorgeous like the interns for Martha Stewart did for her farms. Rather than looking like uninspiring depressing crap like most communities, they ought to always be brainstormed and designed by many to be amazingly beautiful, inspiring, invigorating and functional. Not only the investors ought to be well compensated for whatever profitable businesses each community decides to brainstorm and do, along with selling excess first class organic food, so hard to come by in markets today, as is in the design of the ONE SMALL TOWN concept, and all the One Small Town workers and members need to be well compensated and very prosperous as well, just as any investors are greatly compensated This would be a great way to greatly reduce the cost of building tiny homes and greatly reduce the cost of producing first class, organic food. This would be a great way to get some One Small Towns started also as there are many people stuck in cities where there's no place to build, who have monthly incomes that can contribute to the start up of building such communities & for building warehouses or greenhouses to initially house workers or One Small Town Members who wish to build self sufficient, organic communities rather than pay rent to unscrupulous landlords, stuck in a city where they are vulnerable to various attacks on water and food supplies going on here and there, that we keep hearing about frequently in news during the last couple years. Many people wish to move to self sufficient communities, who don't have a hundred grand to buy a tinyhome, but would love to build one while helping others build tiny homes, and can afford materials for building, IF they had a place to do it. Rather than trying to come up with an underhanded plan designed to rip off all the workers, and provide a meager benefit for yourself and one or two others, Please look for recent explanations of ONE SMALL TOWN(S) on Michael Tellinger's channel. It's a beautiful, extremely profitable concept they've been brainstorming and evolving for some time and way above most poorly conceived concepts vulnerable to getting run by sheisters or weird, embarrassing cults, that wouldn't even work long term. Please seek out the best and always practice the Golden Rule to always strive to give credit where credit is due. Why have crappy riff-raff clogging up our planet? If good people never get credit for their excellent efforts, why should they put any time into making any excellent efforts for anything? People need to get credit where credit is due.

If you want good strong plants or a lush garden, focus on the soil! I've been into plants for little over three year now and it took me a while to learn that soil is the most important aspect of it all. Giving your plants indirect light is easy (even if you live in a basement you can buy grow light), water is easy as well when you keep track with a pH meter, humidity can be created with a humidifier, and pests can be managed, but soil is the most difficult aspect and also what has the bigger impact on your plants. Different plants needs a different mixture of soil and different fertiliser. Once you start to study this you will see a lot more success! Anyway, this is a really sweet home with some really cool ideas. Well done!

@@hoppas77 Nothing in particular. Kaylee Ellen got me interested in rare plants, but other then that it was just a lot of google searching and watching random videos. There's a ton of more information out there now, so it's difficult to really go wrong today. I will recommend you try to find information from people who live in the same country or climate zone as yourself, because weather conditions matters a lot in relation to what you can grow and how you should set up. This is especially true if you have an outside garden as you then have less control in relation to weather conditions, sun hours, and season changes. Don't think badly of yourself when you loss a plant or five, it's natural for plants to die or wither even if you feel like you've done everything right, that's just how nature is. But if you get plants that had a good natural sprouting period or come for a strong mother plant, your chance of success will go up a lot.

I’ve seen a lot of episodes but I personally love this tiny house - squeaky floors and the kitchen style are what I grew up with so I relate to this design so much 😍😍

I love that she kept it small. You don't need all the extra space when you have all the land outside your door. Especially if you want to grow your own food. I really liked all the windows not being so standard. The one in the shower was especially cool. As always thanks for bringing us another design , and women getting involved with building.😊
