I remembered this video from years ago and I even have the Angelina film because I was going to make some fairy wings and here I am years later…. FINALLY going to make the fairy wings for a doll that I FINALLY making 😂 I love the twigs, it’s perfect for my forest fairy… thank you Marie for such a wonderful tutorial ❤

They turned out great, Ive never used the film just the fibres

Thank you, Pam! Yes the film is easy to work with, and you can put the fibers in between layers also.

How sturdy is the film after you melt it to the wire? Does it chip or tear easily? I was thinking of a needle felted figure that had larger wings where you might need them on the armature before you finish the felt.

Hi GM, they are not brittle, but they are stiff, it is quite interesting. The most important thing will be the join...I would not use twigs on a larger sculpture, but a sturdy wire instead. The twig is the most likely thing to break.
