As a mama who just had her 4th baby 6 mos ago, I agree that these are great essentials. Especially if it’s your first and you have family and friends wanting to bless you it would be worth it to put on things like a wool nursing bra and nursing pads on your registry if you have one! You don’t need all the gadgets just things to nourish you, wear comfortably and feel good in, and something to hold baby in.

I had asked my midwife about using the cramp bark and she didn’t recommend it because she said it’s important for your body to cramp as it’s causing your cervix to decrease in size. I had never thought of it that way and felt I might share. Although I have heard other people say it works and not have issues, just something to think about :)

Instead of the wishgarden cramp bark they actually have a blend specifically for the postpartum cramps called Afterease, HIGHLY recommend it as well as their Happy Ducts, you literally can’t go wrong with their products!
