As a Realtor in Katy for the past 20 years and familiar with The Woodlands, this video is very thought out with important details for newcomers. I think 1 important detail missed out on is I-10 vs I-45 for commute. I-10 is the widest freeway in America (in the west Houston stretch - 21 lanes including feeders) which helps with commute times and ease of drive and easy access from most Katy neighborhoods. I-45 N made the top 10 deadliest highway list in the nation based on number of deaths in a 2021 report I read - 290 out of Houston was ranked in the top 10 as well - NW Houston area. Unfortunately, this highway is nerve wrecking to say the least. The narrow lanes and many exchanges. This gives the edge to Katy in my opinion if you need to commute to Houston for work. Another point, you can hear the surrounding highways from many neighborhoods in The Woodlands, in Katy, you can hear I-10 and Grand Parkway only in the neighborhoods closest to the highways. I noticed this while showing homes in The Woodlands many times. You would think the many trees would dampen down the road noise, but it doesn't in many cases. Katy is a much larger area, so you have many choices in quieter areas unlike compacted Woodlands.

I feel they both different i love katy i use to live in cinco ranch for 8 years but i moved away for 10 years an returned and now katy feels like a baby houston now so the woodlands i love the more country feel and so much more

That’s actually not true creekside is zoned to tomball high school and creekside is part of the woodlands so there is 3 high schools zoned to the woodlands and 2 school districts but everything else is very accurate
