Max said to Adam "We should call our band the Warrens." Adam thought he said Warrant because Ratt was so loud. They were in the audience at the Troub. I played in a disco cover band with Adam. Max and Adam told me the story together in the 90s. Max also played in a disco band. We all worked together.

i love warrant, and the music they put out from 1989- 2003. but since jani passed away, joey allen rubs me the wrong way. erik still says some nice things here and there about jani, but joey really comes off cocky for a guy who had to have the producer of dog eat dog put a pledge in the album book that it was him that played, as everyone knew the previous albums didn't feature his work.

Should have nabbed Jeff Scott Soto for vocals after Jani was kicked out the last time. Mason is good, don't get me wrong but JSS is better. That being said, I loved Lane. He is and always will be one of my favorite vocalists of all time. It's a damn shame he couldn't tackle his demons.

THEY didn’t hire him, producer Beau Hill hired him (guitarist Mike Slamer), because these guys couldn’t compete with EVH and Warren DeMartini, and Beau wanted to make the record as good as it could be. Warrant made the best decision to use Slamer, as he wrote iconic solos, then taught Warrant how to play them, and they’ve made a living playing them for over 30 years now.

Warrant's greatness is Jani's songwriting, I could literally care less bout the other members for the way they disrespect Jani still to this day. Without Jani these dudes would be nothing... well without Jani AND Mike Slamer of course 👀
