Speedy is my very favorite bag. Technically, Alma was the very first Louis Vuitton handbag, custom made for Coco Chanel in 1925, but it was not available for general public until 1934. Speedy was introduced in 1930. So, from the mass market perspective, Speedy came first, but from the historic perspective, it was Alma.

I like the darker for you. Thats the archetypical NY coffee cart cup on the charm. I have one in ceramic just because... lol I love me a Speedy. Such a joy to see. My first speedy is a speedy 25 monogram and you will never get it out of my hands. I also use it all the time. 1994 and still going strong.

Makes me want to get my speedy 30 out. I bought my first LV piece in 2006 and it was a Speedy 30 from boutique for about $600 USD! (That was stolen in a home invasion but replaced with a pre-loved / not the same😢). I really think a 20/25 B would be better for me as an everyday.

The demier ebene 30 was my first designer bag and is so sentimental to me too 🤎 mine isnt the B so I bought a strap I just pop onto the handles to use x-body as I don’t want to rebuy the B or I feel my lovely bag will be made redundant ☺️
