Thank you so much for sharing the excellent vintage scores from this collection. I recently picked up a LV multicolor lodge in the gm size that’s currently on a holiday getting the Crossbody strap and hardware all switched out. That one to the interior was pristine and add no major signs of wear on a canvas. I was able to locate it actually for a really good price on The RealReal and I was able bring it to my local store and They took it no problem. I got the update from the LV website but it’s in process for repair. So excited!!, thank you so much again for sharing your experiences with doing luxury refreshes.

Japan is the best vintage market. The pieces you found are amazing! I used to own the GM denim hobo that I got in store when they first released. It was such a showstopper back in the day. It was in perfect condition and I sold it at a steal a few years ago because I didn’t know any better. Regretting it a bit now. 🙈 When they go for repairs in Paris they come back made in France. I had a made in USA bag that came back made in France but they didn’t replace the date code so it was mismatched. 🤪 Congrats on your new treasures! 🎉🍾🎊

Love the vintage pieces! I have been collecting LV since 1999. The dust bags with the brown LV were made of soft luxurious fabric and had a heave brown cord drawstring. I have several in various sizes in my collection.

Love the faded blue of the denim bumbag and yes, we’re certainly bigger today than 20 yrs ago. Floral interiors must have been a thing back then as I remember having a huge Billabong pleather bag with a gorgeous floral lining. So many memories. Enjoy your new old pieces. 😊

I have copies if the catalog pages. Back in the day LV released a printed yearly catalog. One of my biggest regrets is throwing them out! But my SA’s sent me copies of the store editions they have.

Having the Neverfull refurnished will be cheaper then a new one but not ‘cheap’ as such. I suggest getting a quote as prices change country to country. All LV stores will quote.
