This is exactly the video I’ve been searching for. Thank you very much. I want to build something like that on my utility trailer and have my atv behind it I can take it off and not have another trailer to register yearly

That’s a great application for a removable camper pod like this. Check out the entire series for more ideas. There’s a playlist on my channel page to make finding all the vids easy. Thanks for watching.

Yea this is a great idea, planning to build one myself. I’ve been searching for trailers and designs but never considered to have it removable and we already have a trailer this size so I’m going for it

How do you keep everything from shifting and breaking rear door? I would have gone with a Queen mattress( get a better rest than sleeping on the joints) just my opinion. Like the idea. I have a 5x10 Trailer

I may have missed the part, but how do you anchor the pod to the trailer? Thanks again for these videos. I want to try building one myself this spring.

Hey bud, been checking out your build. Got my doors in today. Looking good. My only advice is to get some bondo and fill them imperfections and sand smooth. You will be a lot happier with the end result. Good luck

Hi Chris. Yup, this is my first one and I just finished coating the Raptor. It’s not terrible but you are right….sanding and bondo or wood filler would have made a better finish for sure. Video upcoming on the finish and when she’s all done I plan to do a full walk around. Are you capturing your build on KZbin? If so I’d love to check it out… Thanks for the input. Matt.

@@LivingOurAmericanDream can’t wait to see it. No plans to video it as I am facing a time crunch to get it finished and get in the woods with it. Family is looking at me tapping their feet lol. The reason I watched your build specifically is because I am using the same rear galley door and also going with the 5 foot height. I am building frame and all for the off road model. I will have a departure angle in the rear and raise the galley door. Putting the fridge freezer on a slide out on a box up front. Maybe when I get it finished I will email ya some pics. Looking forward to seeing the raptor liner. Looking good

In your first video you mentioned you got custom order Three-quarter inch plywood sheets 5 feet wide by 8 feet. Did you order that from a big box store or Lumbermill or where did you order it from?

How's the raptor liner holding up any cracking ?
@LivingOurAmericanDream2 жыл бұрын
Seems to be good so far, no cracks, no leaks. Full disclosure, I store it inside.

How do you keep your fridge running during transit?
@LivingOurAmericanDream3 жыл бұрын
The fridge is plugged in a cold before we leave, then we pack the upper freezer portion full of ice packs. That gets us to our destination, so far up to 4 hours away, without food getting warm. Thanks.

Nice build, where did you get the tri-fold mattress?
@LivingOurAmericanDream3 жыл бұрын
Amazon. It’s 6” tri-fold memory foam.

I forgot to mention how the wait how did you get a mattress in it
@LivingOurAmericanDream Жыл бұрын
The mattress is a trifold so it folds up to go in, and then can be used as a sofa until it’s folded out into a bed.
