A 90 day visa is $25 currently. The rental prices are a tad higher than what I'm seeing. I have a 1 bedroom with a beach view for $193 per month in Da Nang.

@@HueNguyen-sh2dv hey I can recommend the hotel name "Casa Rosa Apartment Da Nang", I stayed at that hotel last year (it's more like an apartment, but has clean room service every 2 days). It costs around $25 per night, very clean and beautiful room, can walk to the beach (around 200 meters)

what's stopping you?
@ifh4030
@ifh4030 6 ай бұрын
@@avamaria8447 mostly due to the fact that I'm not living close by anymore. I used to live in China and the flights were much shorter and cheaper. Also, I've barely traveled in the last 8 years getting ready to make a long-term move. I'm hoping to leave Canada indefinitely. However, I can't figure out a great visa situation so I may actually have to end up moving to the Philippines or somewhere else in the region. Not sure yet. Edit: I'm so happy for anyone who's been able to figure out how to make the move.

Many Vietnamese living in the US go to Vietnam just for this. And by the admission of Vietnamese-American dentists in the US (including many who graduated from top US schools of dentistry), the work in Vietnam is mostly high-quality at an unbelievable price.

We were in Da Nang last year, but only for two days as we were exiting Vietnam. Will be going back in 2025 for a longer stay. This year we are visiting Kuching, Malacca, and Batam. This was really a pleasant video, and the gentleman in the video that was being interviewed seemed genuinely nice. Also love what his wife is doing with her restaurant. We will definitely try to make it to their restaurants the next time we come to Vietnam. 👍 Every time I am in SE Asia I feel very much at peace...absolutely love being in that part of the world.

Both Danang and Hoi An a wonderful places. The people are friendly and laid back. Hoi An probably has more tailor shops per capita than anywhere else in the world. They are fast, skilled and very reasonable. There is a great public market in Hoi An with an assortment of local dishes. Both places are great to walk around and safe. The beach in Danang is legendary. It was a top R and R spot during the American war and site of an old TV series called China Beach which was the name the GIs gave to the beautiful My Khe Beach.

I've been to Da Nang and Hanoi a few times and really enjoy the food and culture as well as the beaches in Da Nang. Would like to spend more time there and will definitely check out this area of Da Nang next time there. However it's disappointing as an Australian along with many other nationalities that we are not allowed to ride motorcycles or drive cars in Vietnam as our international licence isn't recognised. So if riding or driving and have an accident there's no insurance cover. I like travelling around by motorbike exploring remote areas but this is very risky without my licence being recognised. A great video I really enjoyed catching up on Da Nang again.

Such an informative video! The Vietnom (Vietnam Eatery) menu offers an amazing variety of delicious food dishes. However, I strongly recommend the Vietnam's map on the Vietnom menu include Paracel and Spratly archipelagoes, which are an integral part of Vietnam's territory according to the Law of the Sea Treaty UNCLOS 1982.

It's a pretty good video; however you must come there for about 2 weeks and check for yourself before you decide!

So clean and beautiful. Da Nang makes San Diego look like a 3rd World horror show, which it is. What a terrific video, thank you.

I was in Da Nang in March. I like Hue (the imperial city) so much better. The different between Da Nang and San Diego is worrying about typhoon season.

@@hangto5038and the agent orange, right? I desperately want to spend a lot of time in Vietnam but the lack of updated studies makes me pause. Just a chance I can’t take with little ones.

@@thewanderingcricket2529 traces of it were still being tested in animal fats and foliage in the early 2000s but I’m not able to find any new scientific testing. The animal fats had considerably high traces still.

I just had a dental treatment there, in Bien Hoa, 30 km ride from Ho Chi Minh city. The cost was low, the quality was high, many dentists have American post grad training. For the same medic practical years, VNmese dentests have usually more experience than their American counterparts since in VN the medical practitioners usially work 8 hrs in hospitals + 3 hrs in their private clinics, 6 days a wk is the norm if not 7. Denists hrly pay rate is astronomically high in the US. Many American dentists are reluctant to spend more time with their patient. While in VN, especially when you're a western expat, many VN dentist & their assistants are willingly spend more time with you.
