Ever wondered how much a day in Istanbul really costs? In this video, we’re breaking down the prices and showing you all our favorite spots around this stunning city! Prices have skyrocketed in Türkiye the last two years, so it's not a cheap holiday spot anymore but nevertheless the country remains one of our favorite travel destinations.
We start the day by catching the ferry for a scenic breakfast, then stroll across the famous Galata Bridge chatting with local fishermen. We explore the Sultan Ahmet area, visiting the iconic Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Time for a delicious Turkish lunch, followed by a trip to the Grand Bazaar and a visit to the beautiful Süleymaniye Mosque.
Next, we get lost in the vibrant Spice Bazaar, where we chat with some fascinating vendors. We cap off the day with a rooftop drink at Arya, enjoying breathtaking views of Istanbul before heading to dinner for some mouthwatering gluten-free Turkish dishes. To finish, we explore Istanbul by night and treat ourselves to some irresistible baklava.
