Generally the reason people do not use things like stone and tile in a camper or van build is the weight. The tires/shocks/whatever car stuff holds the weight, has a weight limit and stone is very heavy. In such a small space hopefully that won't be an issue! At least it will be balanced as it's on the whole floor.

Love this! Can’t wait to see how it progresses! One piece of advice I can give from when I renovated my camper - it doesn’t have to be perfect, but it has to be done. That was my motto and it saved me from giving up multiple times when I couldn’t get things the way I wanted. In the end, no one noticed my little mistakes or that things didn’t line up perfectly, all they saw was my hard work and creativity. Also, things will not line up perfectly! I swear, you can’t find a straight line or 90 degree angle in them to save your soul. Don’t let that discourage you! You’re going to have so much fun on your camping journey! ❤

Hello miss Rachel. The trailer reminds me of a tent minus the bugs. Anyhoot. A couple of things came to mind. A window on the door. Nothing big just to add more light and or circulation. The trailer deserves a name and I nominate "Cali". If the trailer is for you to get away giving you a sense of peace, Cali gave you that. Lastly, linoleum flooring. It came to mind because its everlasting. I get adding weight, and durability but linoleum. I dunno. Just a thought.

Hi, a nice start on the camper. As far as electrical advise if you are going to be running from the Jackery or other batteries I would suggest using all 12V DC components if you can. Using a DC to AC inverter is very inefficient and they can waste up to 20% of your stored energy. Also if you are going as far as to install solar panel(s) for charging the flexible panels are much better than the rigid panels. They can be mounted with a lower profile and are better at handling cloudy days or shade. I've installed a few systems now with flexible panels and have never had trouble getting the batteries to full charge every day in any weather conditions.

Hi Rachel, think if it was just to be stationery, then Yes, the stone floor, but if it's to be towed then you need light weight materials and easy clean, the heavier it is the more fuel ⛽️ you'll use, and also if ever in a accident ( God forbid) the floor will become a missile and cause lots of damage 💔 😢 please find a better material for the floor.🎉❤

I don't HATE that you put down hardiboard. It will help with water intrusion. I did notice that subfloor is showing daylight so I'm worried about waterproofing underneath. Look up the gvwr rating of your trailer and your car. You need to know how heavy that trailer is and how much your car can tow. I don't think it's a lost cause if you've put down the stone tile. You might just have to be super selective of everything else that goes in the trailer. Remember, this isn't a new thing, so make sure it's suspension, axels, etc are checked out and good to go. And, if you haven't towed before, you might consider getting a sway bar on your jeep for safety. I know someone whose husband was killed in an accident on a rollover of the trailer! Anyway, I like seeing you happy. You're healing.

As a previous manufactured home owner. These structures are not like stick build. The weight can't be sustained and the floor will fall through to the ground. Also, rubber coating the roof seals leaks. Someone used nails with washers on mine... many more leaks. Had to abandon it.

I would say those small tires are not rated for the weight you are adding with the stone. Additionally, driving down the road, the inside of your trailer is experiencing about an 8.0 earthquake. Plan your materials accordingly.

Honestly Rachel, I don't think flagstone is a bad idea. Keeping the weight closer to the ground, especially if you're thinking about adding higher up cabinets or whatnot, is always a good idea in tiny homes on wheels (unless you need to take legal weight into consideration). Take this from someone that lived in a van with a cat; sweep-ability is ALWAYS good! 🤧🧹

Are you filtering your paint before you put it in your paint sprayer and sending it? Are you thoroughly cleaning out your lines after painting? Not doing both religiously will kill your paint sprayer. I would recommend watching a couple of maintenance videos on YT. It sounds to me like to are getting clogs causing it to back up.
