Christopher disrespecting and hurting Liz in her on home , and using THAT as an opportunity to propose to her daughter let us know exactly who he was and how this relationship would go; I never understood why Ad didn't react more to that. I think the first time Chris hurts Ad she rubs her wrist after as well and Liz is dressed just like her daughter. "When you get hurt again, this door is closed to you." That line probably haunted her forever. All through the series the guys consider themselves honorable because "you don't touch the family, wife, kids" but the show constantly demonstrates this is a lie. The kids are orphaned/tramatized/corrupted. The mother's have loved ones ripped away and in Liz's case everyone acts like you are crazy when they all are somehow involved. Angie was the exception, she was better off and happier without Sal and went from asking for a handout to putting money on the street. (Do the Angie story next *wink wink*)

Soprano heads know Tony had Sil wack Adriana for "talking" with feds. Never have and never will like this story arc. I think the writers got so caught up with the actor's beauty that it was assumed that Adriana didn't have a brain. The moment Danielle exposed herself as fed the very next words of Adriana's mouth should have been, still to this very day, "I want my lawyer". In real life those words would stopped them in their tracks. They (feds) work to entrap Adriana with cocaine found/sold at Crazy Horse. Can't remember who, somebody was also wacked at the club. She should have went straight Shaggy "I don't know what you talkin' 'bout, ain't got nothin' to do with me" while lawyered up for the coke charge, was technically civilian, had no record and would have served little to no time for the blow while lawyered up against feds saving her life. Though fiction, I feel for Liz La Cerva. A mother knows her child's being and Liz knows her child is deceased. Carmella tries to act stupid with Liz because of Liz' past alcoholism. Carmella is just as much garbage as Tony is. Carmella has laid down with this man for, say 20-25 years, and knows exactly what and who he is and chooses denial. She makes me sick, so does Tony. As with Ralphie, and others, Tony has it coming. (As much as I love JG's swag, lol) (My theory is Paulie had Patsy kill Tony). Meadow becomes defense attorney for NY LCN, Angie Bumpensiero sp, becomes Don of DiMeo crew. Ironic.

Angie would make a badass Don. Would be a funny show with a consigliere like Meadow, and capos like Benny and Little Paulie. With little up and coming rookies like Bobby Bacala the third, the two Jasons and some arab or black kid meadow adopts. Absolutely apolyptical, from a pygmy thing to a microscopic one. Angie would literally be the best gangster of that roster. I disagree with everything you said about Adrianna though! I think she comes from a different generation and family tradition of mobsters. Carmella was more aware of how the mob works precisely because her family is not criminal, she grew up having to go out with Dickie and that cute troublemaker who couldn't cut it as a varsity athlete to see the life. Her parents didn't know just exactly what she was getting into, how would they know what to hide from her? It's like Henry Hill (in the movie of course). Now Ade is more like Fredo, she is from a family so deep in the business, and also from a younger generation than Carmela, a slightly more coddled and homestuck millennial I'd suppose, that I highly doubt she'd have Jackie, Richie, or any of the other career criminals letting her anywhere near criminals, as friends, mentors, even worse boyfriends, for a little while. Her past relantionships before Chrissy didn't indicate being mobsters. In other words, she is closer to Meadow than to Carmela. Carmela chose to get in this lifestyle. Plus she is in a relantionship with a more intelligent man who plans out the worse case scenario. Chrissy never had deep conversations about the "what ifs" of him getting whacked or going to prison to Ade. Etc I could write more. But I think that's enough.

It wouldn't have worked. If you remember in one of the episodes they detain Adrianna for half a day and lie to her telling her there are no lawyers available. The FBI lied to her to get her to cooperate and Ade was even dumber when she tried to push marriage thinking she wouldn't have to testify against her husband. Even though she had been ratting on him in private to the feds all the while.
