I love how thatcher hangs over a lot of the scenes like the watchful eye of Horus and it's quite poetic on many levels because the original Spitting Image from the 1980's featured her as a main character while the new series is as if we are following the children of her legacy in this decade as a later sequel. Amazingly it's exactly what's happening in the real world in the current Boris era, boris, rishi and Russ all desperately want to be like the Thatcher cabinet but know they are literally just fan girl idiots with no vision of anything.

His economic policies have become unpopular with the Tory members and the MPs (who want immediate tax cuts and don't believe in 'handouts' to households to help with the cost of living) and he's become unpopular with the general public because of an old interview of him where he brags that he doesn't have any working class friends. There was also a scandal involving his wife (a multi billionaire tax cheat) and he received a fine for breaching lockdown rules in 2020, along with Boris. So he's seen as another out of touch Etonian to people on the left, and as a traitor to people on the right, and he's about to lose his bid to be Prime Minister to one of the most incompetent politicians in the history of politics.
