More more more of Miss Scott ! such a charming and beautiful woman . I had no idea that she was so modest, selfefacing and seemingly unaffected by it all. LOVE HER !

They don't come more genuine than Lizabeth Scott! She's one of the very few Hollywood luminaries you NEVER heard any dirt on. That speaks volumes about her as a person. How she was able to maintain her personal values in the cesspool of Hollywood is commendable.

indeed a good one.

She made a comparatively small number of movies (21, I think), yet: a) had top billing in all, & b) starred with some of the very top names: Kirk Douglas, Arthur Kennedy, Dan Duryea, Burt Lancaster, Van Heflin, Humphrey Bogart, even Elvis Presley. She definitely has a rare quality, which time only seems to have enhanced. My favourites are: Too Late For Tears, Pitfall & Dead Reckoning.

Thanks! Will let Carole know- I was the shooter... Carole was in total awe- she couldn't help herself... it was Lizabeth, after all... her childhood hero... :)

Jake Drew Well- she did make many pictures in the 50s, and was very wise with her investments.. maybe Polaroid at 18 a share? :)

That's what I was wondering. A lot of stars invested in real estate. I read when Randolph Scott died he was actually wealthyier than Crosby and Hope together! lol

Jake Drew Yes! Maybe she owned a lot of beachfront property... a friend of mine held his wedding at Randy Scott's house in the early 60s...

She guest stars in the TV show Burke's Law called "Who killed Cable Roberts?" It's on KZbin. So classy there.

Boss- not only did I shoot this interview in Janet Leigh's bedroom- I made Jerry's 1996 A&E Biography... and Janet's 1996 Lifetime Intimate Portrait... and the 1999 A&E 4 part Biography of the Rat Pack. Janet Leigh was like an Aunt to me... my grandfather was Abner Biberman- his brothers were Herbert (one of the Hollywood 10) and Edward (he painted the murals in the Venice CA Post Office). Abner was Tony Curtis' drama coach at Universal when he was first cutting his teeth. As well as Marilyn's.

Jerry and Dino- when they first arrived in Hollywood in 1948, they proceeded to "pursue" Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh and June Allyson- three of the "Little Women"- which was being made at MGM at the time... ;)

Interviewer interrupts her way too often, asks a question then once she's about to answer, interrupts. That's such a shame.

@@soapbxprod people are allowed to have an opinion. Although I appreciate the interviews as they are rare, I do think the interviewing style can be a little odd, referencing things that don't have any relevance to Lizabeth, also referring the Lillian Burns as this old lady we interviewed etc... wasn't great. It's constructive criticism is all, it happens
