Wonderful interview. Such a pleasure to listen to her talk about Hollywood without bad mouthing anybody.

Thank you, Ed! We truly appreciate your viewership, and your love of Lizabeth... this was one of the best day's work that we ever had- Ms. Scott even kissed me after we finished, and we had a glass of wine with Janet (Leigh) downstairs... Warmest Regards, Luke Sacher (shooter of this interview) Praeses & Soapbox Productions Inc.

What to say her . She is one of a kind . If the new girls of the screen today were to sit down and watch this they would understand what it truly means to be a star . Be kind loyal , and most of all true to ones self . Something lacking today . Rest in peace Lizibeth Scoot . Your fans will love you for ever . Thank you Alouis Skrjanc Jr .

She was awesome on film, (seems like a wonderful human being also) met her around 1992 in LA, (was one of my lucky days). She seemed to have a mysterious aura in her films. (something that went beyond acting)

Miss Scott is very kind and generous to all the people she worked with... unlike some of the other older actresses who can be somewhat complaining

Once again. I really do love this actress. Here in England, we would say She has no edge, meaning she is such a humble lady, no "look at Me I'm a Star". Just a loveable woman.

My other favorite is Julie Harris, something that transcended 'acting' whether stage or film. esp. East of Eden. and like Miss Scott, there was a special beauty about her well past the working years.

She was the best of the best... got a bit weepy when the news of her passing came a few weeks ago. Do you remember her in "Harper" with Paul Newman?

I'm confused...did I miss something?....Lizabeth Scott was not in "Harper" with Paul Newman?

@@women65andover That person who was mistaken must have been thinking of Julie Harris, who had a role as a singer in 1966's "Harper".

***** Hi there vary much enjoyed to cool way in witch this was taped . Looks like no editing was done through the who interview . Or vary little . I bet it was a high lite of your career , to be so close to a fantastic lady as she . My only regret is I never got to meet here . Even though we did , exchange so notes on her face book, day;s before she passed away .That was a thrill. Iron nick I did say to her live long and prosper , she gave me a a smiley face back and sed you made my day .

Alouis Skjanc Dear Alouis, Yes, this is raw and unedited- Carole and I simply let the camera keep running- we then transcribe the interview, and chose "selects" to be included in the actual documentary project. We shot our interview with Miss Scott for a project that was never realized- a history of the great leading ladies of Hollywood from the 1940s to 1960s, based on our friend Janet Leigh's autobiography. Unfortunately, we could not interest a television network or independent producer to buy it. :) Best Wishes as always! Luke Sacher

"The soul is lacking in most of the (modern) films I see." Oh, Lizabeth, I couldn't have put it better. What puzzles me is the number of people that still go & watch them. Maybe they're soulless, too...

Why doesn't someone write a biography on her ? There is nothing on Amazon books. Must be over a hundred books on M. Monroe.

Sadly, African American actresses didn't get to wear the tailored, satin, and jewels during fittings
@kjun034 жыл бұрын
But they did! Joan Bennett and blonde sister Constance were just a few “white actresses with distinct African heritage !” They just came out looking white! Even Vivien Leigh was part Irish Indian and Merle Oberon tried to pass for white with a black Indian Mother! Most wouldn’t advertise their mixed blood in those days! Film Noir didn’t cater to Noire ! Thanks!!!
