Your ability to stitch on the edge like that I fear is not appreciated by the viewers who likely never tried their hand at a sewing machine. Incredible precision. I would have put holes in the upper leather off the lizard for sure!

I just invested in 2 pairs of Frye boots. After watching so many of your videos, I'm reminded how long shoes and boots can last with proper care, resole, and repair when needed. Those boots are beautiful.

TheNunakun Am I the only one who thinks the whole Hammer Time is just dumb? It’s the 1 thing that I can’t stand. Every time I hear it I’m thinking MC Hammer and his Hammer Time. Dumb then, dumb now. He does great work and it’s interesting, it’s just that 1 aspect for me. I’m sure lots of others like it. If you’re going to do Hammer Time, I expect a big sludge hammer bashing down walls or something like that. Still great to see a master at work. How involved it really is in fixing shoes.

Steve, those boots are AMAZING! Now I know where I can send MY boots,and/or shoes for repair. I remember some 30 years ago, I had to throw away the best pair of boots I ever had! I had them re soled & heel’ed 3 times already, but the man at the ship said he couldn’t fix them anymore. I think he was just lazy! I’m going to find another pair one day! ONE DAY!!
