Love the balloon hack. I was so anxious that it would pop when you placed it inside the tree! Some of those bristles are very pokey! But it looked beautiful. My tree has some gaps, so that might be the perfect solution!

Liz, great Christmas hacks! I gifted candy trees to my coworkers last year. I also wrapped each tree in cellophane with beautiful gold ribbons and greenery. My coworkers loved them! Regarding the Twix candy. the left and right labels are part of a marketing campaign that started in 2012 to create a backstory (rivalry between two brothers) 🙂

For jar displays, I use epson salts (unscented) instead of sugar. I save the bag it comes in and pour it back in to recycle for use next year. I have used ping pong balls for boosting light for many years. Just poke a hole in the ball and pop it on the light. A large bag of white ping pong balls is less expensive than ornaments and produces an awesome effect!

Oh, Liz, I had to comment again, Moose, is precious and beautiful, I thought it was going to be a BIG dog, Easter Monday, our 15 yr. old Yorkie Bichon passed, and Daisy was my life, seeing little Moose made me smile, and Daisy also loved those mini Milkbone treats, give Moose a hug and a kiss from me. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I love your DIY, and I love both the reindeer donuts, pretzel's are prob. my fav. look.

I use scentsicles in my artificial poinsettia plants. And, I use green pipe cleaners to attach garland to my banisters. Also, unbent paper clips can be used as ornament hooks

Use the scentcicle with the hooks to drop them into your heater vents, when the heat comes on you get a fresh burst. Swap out every couple of weeks. No one will ever see them and it's like a Christmas in every room. I usually will use a different scent in each room to prevent scent blindness!

The reason that the Twix says right or left is when they were first brought out back in the 1980’s there were two of them in each wrapper. They were side by side so it’s a throwback to then & they are telling you which one would be on which side of the original wrapping.

I made a money pizza for our grandson that turned out great! He worked at a Papa Johns , so I went and asked for a clean pizza box , which they didn’t charge me for, but I’m sure you could buy one pretty cheap from any pizza place. It turned out great!
