Hacks. On the candle issue: taper candlesticks are used today for aesthetics, unless you want the drip look. Container candles are for pleasure. Honestly, do what you want, it's your house!🥰 If I light tapers, it's usually a special occasion❣️

Fresh fruit in containers with lids is a great idea, but if kids serve themselves, I would use plastic containers & a scoop, not a spoon to retrieve fruit. No scoop, a dry ingredient measuring cup makes a great scoop in a pinch. Thanks, Liz, for these great ideas and them being all new! 💜

For pancakes…put dry ingredients into the bottle then add wet ingredients and shake to mix…saves having to use a funnel to get it into the bottle.

There are so many common household items that will remove labels & sticky residue. You only need a little... Wd40, Baby oil, Any cooking oil, Peanut butter, Oil based body butter or lotions. Hope this helps people like me who don't own a hairdryer. Succulent garden in old light fixture. Genius! /You can blend watermelon & make popsicles for the kids or kids at heart. Burn or don't burn candles? Your house, your money, do what makes you happy. The only way to live! Liz, really great video! 🙂💜

I always burn my candles-I want to enjoy them and they are so much prettier when they burn. But one thing I have done with those huge candles is to burn it until a hole in the wax is large enough to insert a tea light candle. Then, I just light the tea light. You get the flame without burning away the decorative candle.

I find feather pillows to be the best and most comfortable couch pillows. Also if you like punching your pillows they are best for that as well. I’m not a pillow puncher, but I love feather pillows, and use them all over my house.

WD40 removes stickers easily. I then clean with dawn to remove the grease. Great HACKS. I used to make smiley face pancakes for my son. Make the face features first and then make a regular pancake over it. Did his initials as well.

Just an FYI…An auto mechanic friend of mine told me not to attach other items to a key ring because over time the added weight of the key ring will eventually wear on the ignition and could cause other issues with the starter….so just keep that in mind and don’t overload your key ring😳💕

I use my sink drain to hold up anything that I am pouring in when using a funnel. It doesn’t move or fall over. If you have a small space to prepare food but you have top drawers use a cutting board and place it in the drawer. You now have extra space.

Hi Liz! Love your hack videos. I am going to try the marshmallow fudge stripe cookie one. i learned from my family in law( they own a jewelry store) when traveling with necklaces, to keep them from tangling, get some of the small zip bags. They are for storing beads. You can find them everywhere. Anywho, place your necklace in the bag and leaving a small amount of the chain/clasp sticking out. Zip it closed and they will not get tangled.
