I have always brought lists of sizes of containers etc I'm looking for. Recently I saw someone cut out a sheet of paper the size of the space and fold it up and take it to the store. That way you can lay out the containers on the paper to see if they will fit your space. I thought that was a pretty smart idea and better than trying to do a bunch of math to see if multiple containers will fit.

I had no idea you could do that with the trash can bags... just leave them attached and at the bottom of can! Duh!!! Brilliant!! And I also love the spoon holder because it has a place for the lid, too. I never know where to put the lid. Thank you! Organization. 😊

We were at an Air BNB last fall and had very few bowls. I bought the set at Walmart and then brought them home. I also purchased a rubber bath mat for the shower because my husband is a fall risk. I’ve started a bin of similar items that I plan to pack any time we travel in case we need them.

I keep rubber bands in one, staples in another. I got some similar ones from Dollar Tree that I have spare keys and thumb drives in. They are really versatile and great for keeping all those little things corralled!

Also use transparent bins for the Summer house bathroom which has simple equipment. I love to have my skincare and make-up products on the bathroom counter to be able to see them. I bought a couple of small bins which contain my products and are stored in the drawers when we are away from this Summer house. The products catch no dust and the counter is easy clean. Upon my arrival I grab the bins from the drawers and leave them on the counter. Then back in the drawers when holidays are over. It takes less than five minutes to empty the countertop. I clean the bins and the products from time to time. If some of you are lucky to have a small Summer house, as I am, you certainly do know a lot of "tricks" to keep this house easy to maintain. Liz, may I ask you if you did some videos on this subject ? Thanks

Just a suggestion about putting the games into the bags. Be sure you put the directions for the game in with a bag also and I cut the front panel off of the box and slide it into the bag too so I know exactly what's in that bag. I love the idea of using a sida can tab to double up the hangers. What an inexpensive and great idea.

Nifty clothes hanger/beverage tab hack for sets, although you could do same without the tab and simply hook one hanger around the top of the other hanger style Liz showed in video. No tab needed.

Thank you for moving past just dollar tree organization! I've watched both the recent Amazon and Walmart videos several times each! I got tired of DT a while ago. And I'm sure others have too, don't get me wrong they do get some cool new things occasionally but it's a lot of the same ol' same ol'. Plus I'm tired of having to buy new after they get broken. What you find at Walmart is affordable, but *also* durable and functional. A lot more than DT products. (And even a lot more than Amazon products. That's why I always check Walmart first before Amazon, bc I know the quality control is a lot better!) I'm definitely here for the Walmart, Amazon, Target finds / organization. Anything but temu I've had to stop watching some people after they did sponsored temu videos I can't do it, integrity is important and that is not a good company.

I have a big basket that I put throw blankets in. It was one of those honey colored baskets. Well, since that kind of went out of style, I actually stained that basket and a bunch of others by putting vinegar, steel wool, and coffee grounds in a jar for a few hours, or a few days. I forget. Anyway, I use that liquid to paint on my baskets, and a chemical reaction causes the baskets to darken. At first you don’t think that the liquid that you’re painting on is doing anything, but after a little, while, it starts to darken, especially if you leave it out in the sun… I think that’s what I remember! 😂

I have to admit i tried putting the roll of trash bags in the bottom of the bin. I wont ever do it again! It took one barely eaten popsicle being thrown into a bag that must have had a hole in it to break me of doing that. There was sticky green stuff all over the roll. I had to unroll most of the bags to clean off each one. Instead ive been pulling off a few bags and folding them over the sides of the bin, then putting in the open bag for garbage over them.
