The 3 of you were great! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure and I hope this will not be the last video from any or all of you 3.

The three/four of you together was the perfect group throughout the trail.The relationship built between Evan and Liz is inspirational and will last a lifetime. It also helped cement the bond between Liz and Luke in my mind. Here here to a happy marriage. I often thought while watching both of your blogs, Liz and Evan, how the two of you would walk past one another in any city or place and simply say hello, but how crossing paths on the AT, established a beautiful bond. There is something very special in your friendship, something that brings even more character and beauty out in each of you. Keep enjoying life and each other’s friendship as it is something to cherish. Hike & Live On 😉

Great video after a wonderful series. (Yes, I know I'm watching this years after you posted. I've never been the cool one.) I really enjoyed the chemistry in the group. My favorite part of the series (of course) was Katahdin with Liz and Luke. My second favorite, though, was Evan reuniting with the team at Lakes of the Clouds Hut. He obviously pushed hard to catch up, and the reaction from the team upon seeing him that morning was wonderful. Great stuff.

Ok, you, lyke and Evan on the pct. I also didn't know there was such a thing as a party theme on the trails lol. I'm clearly sheltered but I'll end up being that person who goes on alone I hope. Or at least meet an Evan like you did! PCT girly! Yall got this!

This was good and funny! I had to comment as my boyfriend also has the habit of tapping, knocking, and fidgeting accompanied by some type of noise. What was so funny to me is that I noticed it immediately with the knife and the toothpick but you didn't say a word until nearly the end of the video and I actually burst out laughing! Thank you for sharing this and all of your videos they never fail to bring a smile. I don't want to sound corny or weird but I love you guys.

Hey Just discovered you from Evan's video! I just want to say I totally support Thru Hikers! I might be called a Trail Angel?? About 3 years ago, we let a thru hiker stay with us for a night because all the Hostels were full and it was going to be cold! We live in Rangeley Maine.(remember it?) Best decision we ever made! Tj "Fancy" has become a wonderful friend to us! He has been back to visit us 2X. He lives in Pa. Well, just wanted to share that!

If yo all do another Q&A, how long did it take you and Evan, since he was sick to recover from the Appalachian trail when your hike was over? You all are such a great inspiration!
@LizKidder6 жыл бұрын
Good question! Hopefully I’ll do another Q&A but in case not: mentally I feel like I’m still trying to get back to reality haha (3 months later).. but physically I’d say about a month of feet stiffness/soreness especially in the mornings but otherwise I was fine!

I loved this!!! One question I had that I don't think I asked before is for Liz. I found you (and Luke) by watching Evan, so I went back and watched your previous videos when you did vlogging for Trek. Obviously, I don't think you regret deciding to ditch the drama that seemed to plague the beginning of the hike, but did that ever resurface during or after your hike? I believe nature brings out the best and worst in people, and for your tramily, I think we all saw the best ~ because you are all honest and didn't sugar coat sucky things but showed great appreciation for great things. I'm glad it all worked out the way it did, and am wondering if you reflected on the start of the hike toward when you almost gave up vlogging (ye gads) to the end when you and Evan sort of had us captured in a cotton candy machine of cool hiking lore?
@LizKidder6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the thought out question! I definitely feel I made the right decision taking the break that I did and then restarting on my own platform- it’s been MOSTLY positive feedback since then! No drama ever really resurfaced! Thanks for caring!❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@LizKidder I am so glad everything worked out the way it was meant to work out. Evan was very lucky to find you, as well, because I think he would have been really lonely going at it alone. He needed to find someone as organized as he is, and you 4 just made an awesome team :-)

I have been hiking for many years. I am over 49+, single mom, professional, advice for how to organize life to get time off work for longer hikes?
@LizKidder5 жыл бұрын
That’s a tough one obviously, but if it helps- I planned my hike like 1.5 years in advance and fully committed to working my life AROUND the hike. If you wait until it’s convenient, it will never happen! Set a realistic goal, even if it’s 5-10 years out, and commit to working around it. :)

It’s like watching Survivor when they have the reunion show. Everyone is a little fatter, and pine on what they would have done different so that the effect on themselves would have turned out better.

Great Q&A! Congrats to both of you on completion! I did section hikes this summer and I’m obsessed with the idea of completing the entire trail. (For me though, it will never be a through hike.) Anyway, I’ve been looking for a good video editor, so thanks for sharing those! I found LumaFusion, but wasn’t able to find the Video Leap that Liz mentions. Can you please provide a link? (App Store) Keep up the great work! Check out my channel as well! 😁
